Being a woman this is not a game I would normally play... but my brother went away for the week and I played it on his old Xbox...just out of curiosity... I immediately fell in love. Amazing game that doesn't get enough credit xx
Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon were both WAY AHEAD of the times and that’s what made them great! They weren’t just your typical shoot ‘em up type games. They involved strategy and being quick on the draw. That’s why I love most of all the Tom Clancy based games. Used to have all of his books too. They were all enjoyable to read

God yes, same, it feels like it was just yesterday that I was playing the xbox demo that came on the xbox magazine and being blown away by the graphics, the shadows and the curtain physics of the game omg how time flies, so glad I was able to be around and very active as the series reached its true height, it breaks my heart to see that games have changed for the worst, so glad we can play this today without the need to be always online

Bro! They should continue the concept. The room clearing and tactical planning is so unique to the game. I can't think of any other game that is even remotely comparable to it, except MAYBE Rainbow Six: Siege.

Good memories. Spawning in Warehouse and throwing grenades up into the box room at the start of the round as the other team is running across. Shooting people in the foot with the M82A1 sniper for the insta-kill, and then getting kicked as it's not allowed.
Very recently I was testing out my RetroTINK Multiformat and I hooked up my Xbox and popped this game in. As soon as I heard this menu music I began to remember how much I loved this game and my memories about it. They don't make them like they used to anymore. Thank you so much for uploading this. By the way, if JediKnight423 or Edarb911 by some crazy stroke of luck ever see this post, thanks for all the good times we had together.

back then.. rainbox six 3 on xbox connect, anyone used to play with me? we were such a small community. my name was Snake47. I loved this game. My first online shooter. Back then it was so amazing with headset and communication etc. .
Sorry bro I mostly played on xbox connect which was a tunnel software back then to simulate a LAN session online. I was a kid and couldn't afford xbox live lol
Bad Day at school? Play rainbow! got some homework! play rainbow! dad says its bedtime cause its 4am and you got school in the morning, pretend to go to bed then sneak back for more rainbow six!
Some of the rooms with hostages that you had to flashbang were buggy. You'd open the door to throw a flashbang in and they'd just shoot the hostage straight away. Forcing a retry. Asking your squad to throw one in was too slow. Then sometimes the flash wouldn't blind the terrorists and they'd shoot the hostage regardless. Or they'd be waiting around a corner and always get one shot on you when you came around. Great game though
@heysiri7767 Not Really, bro. It's not even close to the original. Now it's more like COD with goofy color schemes and uniforms in a small arena online only . If you had played the original(s) back when Tom Clancy was alive and still owned RedStorm Entertainment, it was in a much more Swat Terrorist organization based setting. Now it's just stupid . Ubisoft Killed the franchise
