    This is still one of my favorite flights. Bert comes out of his corner swinging hard and fast until the end. And I don't think you can get much lower than raking the grass and dirt around many times throughout the flight. I bet he's even better now. Lets hope. ^_^

    I've been on the internet for 13 years, appreciate the late welcome anyhow. I'm quite aware the internet is a dark dark corner of the universe, it's such a shame people won't be a bit nicer.

    Is that a Whiplash? Whats his setup? That's the best I've ever seen him fly. He's always amazing, he just seems to have some new tricks up his sleeves in this flight. You know more than the standard old hurricanes and funnels. Must be nice to be able to rock it like that.

    its very real look up 3D rc helicopters, this man is brilliant at what he does. next you'll be telling me rc planes cant fly backwards for a brief period, look up 3d rc planes as the rotor and prop can reverse pitch

    @witzman 11 років тому

    normal pitch control. you can use positive or negative pitch for going up or down. combine with rolling in x and y direction. thats all. and then practise it for years. small 3D Helicopters start @ 100$, digital programmable remotes as well. google "blade mcpx dx6i"

    It is not possible in a full size helicopter. Inverting the pitch of the blades in order to allow the model to fly upside down is a feature that is currently unique to model helicopters.

    Red Bull...Here's your mission, provided you want something more epic than anything on the next airshow circuit that nobody else would have... Build a full size piloted experimental helicopter with excessive power to weight ratio, extra-stiff rotor blades, extra tail boom clearance, and full negative collective capability. You probably already know who should pilot it. And give kudos and a big payout to any engineers that can make it happen. (No knock on this RC, scaling up would be impressive.)

    • @KevinMardirossian
      @KevinMardirossian 10 років тому

      12 cell lithium polymer.

    • @YeetLord666
      @YeetLord666 9 років тому

      12s Lipo with probably 5000Mah and a 45C discharge rate and that got him about 4 minutes. It's all about how you fly. My sport 550 set up can use a 6 cell Lipo with 5000Mah and 25C discharge rate and run for about 12 minutes. Running super high head speeds and doing smack3D will eat battery time.
