- Is this the closest we'll get to a "Brutal GoldenEye" mod? Possibly! Maximum Action is an early access game that features some GoldenEye map ports as mods available on the Steam Workshop. Facility is the first and only (for now) that is fully playable as a singleplayer map, as well as featuring the "endless" mode at the end.

@@michaelomalley6581 Yeah I plan on showcasing the other two GoldenEye maps. Maybe stream the game some day, it even has a Jungle mission with a tank that reminded me of GoldenEye.
Bond kicking the toilet stall door so hard that it not only flew off its hinges but broke the one next to it as well and sent the person inside flying forward at Mach speed had me rolling
Its like I'm watching 007, Matrix, Max Payne and John Wick all at once! 😅
Max Payne, Counter-Strike (also Half Life but CS came from that), Postal 2, Doom, Quake. That was noticed from just the first 2 minutes. The designer did their research or knew people who grew up in the 90s for sure.
Add Deus Ex in there. That's a work of cultural art.
You carefully press the button to open a security door, then crash through the window beside it instead. I do love that kind of fickle strategy.

Looks awesome! Also just gonna say the "DD44" (TT33) is still the best sounding videogame pistol ever. That deep bang is just ear candy.
Swan diving through the door during the endless mode made me think "speedruners hate him. Find out how this player clips through doors effortlessly"

Guess I'd add this to the list of things I didn't know I needed in my life. I feel like Runway would be perfect for this gameplay, given the infinetly spawning guards.
Just being able to mix-n-match dual-wielding makes this really cool

I remember you could mix-n-match dual wielding in the original goldeneye using a simple trick :)

@@Serjo777 I believe you just have get dual wield weapons & fire only the left one. Then reload, and while the left one is reloading, switch to another weapon & hold the shoot button until both guns fire.

I was thinking this as well. It would run uber smooth due to the low graphics so it would work well on the Quest 2 too. I could definitely see this game in VR. I would play it for sure.

I would like to say that this looks interesting to me and I am a 007 fan since 2002 and the movies and video games were so nostalgic.

Yes, the DD44 in GoldenEye is based on the Tokarev TT-33, used by Ourumov in the film.

Yeah the DD44 sound is a bit too rough. If I lowered the volume though the KF7 would be pretty much silent. Should be easy to balance in future updates.
