Large calibre HE is very quickly becoming what HEATFS used to be in mid tier.
HEATFS at mid tier are still quite annoying though considering that it's an era where simple thicc armour was at its peak and the heatfs just straight up ignores it, although you'll have to aim more carefully.
As for big HE, it always was like this except some periods when snail was constantly shifting between giving it properties of a firecracker with confetti or properties of tsar bomba like it was happening around a year ago. What's becoming annoying is that now EVERYONE has AT LEAST 1 big HE slinger so those things are flooding the matchmaking

@@versusVSversus. That and some previous clone additions feels like gaijin is trying to """balance""" the game via equalising the nations. On one hand I understand that because single country players would obviously whine about other nations having something they don't, but on the other hand it totally kills the unique experience of a nation: I would grind a new tree for NEW vehicles, not the reskins of shermans, m109, centurions and other stuff that I've already played. Same with fighting-I prefer to strategize based on what nations I'm fighting against, but with that attitude we're not just back to square 1 where we only had 3 major nations-we're starting getting to a point where even Germany and 'Murica are getting fairly similar vehicles
Yeah I'm wondering if there will be another rebalance to how it and HESH work at this rate. Mid-tier armor is nearly meaningless with all the M109s and similar.

With the introduction of spall liners APFSDS has essentially been nerfed. Which means APHE and HE are now even more viable than they already were at top tier.
in reality spall liners created to stop artillery fragments and squash head in tanks weak spot and more safe for the crew...it has tiny and almost no effect against a 120-125 mm apfsds.

16:00 im sure u know all helicopters have tail rotor in order to balance flying...without they will just spinning around themselves ...some russian heli like ka-50 or ka-52 dont have tail rotor and have 2 main rotor which rotate in opposite direction which counteract and neutralize each others effects...thats why they can stay airborne longer than other choppers in game.
I don't think any helikopter would survive a 9kg TNT ekvivalent hit or even close hit..

Just imagine the Pzh 2000 then! No stabiliser ofc, but it can fire 3 round burst in 9 seconds, now thats busted, it could work in the game as first stage ammo rack that loads real bonkers fast, but after it would get significantly slower, about VIDAR or M109 reload speed. But i mostly want the Palmaria SPG for the Italians, OF-40 hull and M109A1(?) turret and gun.
Pzh 2000 would be a very solid tank, as well as Italian version. One day we'll get them. 3s reload is crazy fast. I hope it has fast HE-VT for plane hunting
@@DOLLARplays Well, its barrel is at a lenght of L/52, its pretty long, pretty sure its cannon is the longest among the 155mm howitzers put on a vehicle. And it can fire the M982 Excalibur extended range guided artillery shell, basicly a HE on steroids, more range, more accuracy than conventional HE and have effective range around 40-70 km, thats long af boi.
Though its standard rounds are the DM121 Boattail, M1711 base bleed, M2005 V-LAP (RAP) (RAP is a Rocket Assisted round)
M109 can fide 3 shells that all land at the same time. It does take a min for temp and reload after though. Why a tank that was in service in Iraq for the US is at 6.3 is kinda dumb.

Betty, I have a suggestion. Play a Tiger I, maybe the new Italian one. BUT: *Six rounds only.* That way you will not have any ammo stored in your sides, but every shot counts now.
It's amazing to see how a simple laser rangefinder could improve a tank.

Fun fact: one of the most resistant tanks against HE is T32E1, even more than Maus. That's because it has around 66 mm of a roof armor in front of a turret, while the most penetration an HE has is 64 mm. That means you can't just shoot it in the middle of a turret with a big HE round, since the explosion won't penetrate the 66 mm over the driver's head 😮.

why there is not an option to remove planes from ground battles something like if you want ground only or mixed, i see only low revenge bombers, feels like there is no ground battles only air with tank, looking forvard for that day when ground is only ground not mixed, when someone is plaing and enjoying tank having fun then some air must crash that fun because you killed him :D same story all the time
if only there would be a tank only mode and progression wasnt P2W, then it would actually be a decent game...
you know I understand its a game but even the frontal armor getting hit by a 155 HE would still put the tank out of commission hard.
