I used to work in a court and wearing white was not a color for success, it’s a color of failure. Deep colors like black and navy are taken more serious. When in a serious setting if you even want to be seen as relevant do not wear sleeveless, no long slits in skirt, no mini length, and wear a closed shoe. White even cream make you look trivial, not respected and loss of attention from others results because of the occasion. If looking for respect in the public eye deep more serious hues are a much better choice.
