  • After about 6 months of having a blowing exhaust it was time to swap the exhaust over for a new part. The item i brought was a Euroflo exhaust all the way from the Cat to the rear exhaust tip. I had a few issues along the way but the exhaust ended up going on okay.

Hey Mark, just wondering if you still have the Corsa motor?

Another great vid mate. Did you ever find out where the oil leak was coming from?

To be honest it could be residue oil in the wiring loom from where the oil pressure sensor failed. Amazingly it past another MOT this year with no issues or advisories. I was glad that i didnt have to work underneath it again

@@Marks-Garage yeah with MOT you should be fine aslong as it's not dripping, so you could simply clean it up and see, but for content if it's from the sump or crank seal, it may be good content for subscribers.

The exhaust was pretty cheap if i remember, Just over £100. The new one is pretty cheap and nasty thou and the tailpipe started rusting within 6 months. It will probably be rotten again soo but with it being a 59plate car its probably on borrowed time anyway

It did but it seems to have a habit of having leaky rear wheel cylinders on the rear drums. It's failed twice on that. As much as I moan about it it's done 11 years without leaving us broken down.

@@aaronaaron6196 The other half still uses it daily too and from work and on the odd occasion longer journeys. Had an issue with the oil pressure switch leaking and pushing oil through the wiring loom a few years back. That was abit of a nightmare. Too used to working on hondas which are generally bulletproof. The corsa has served us well thou!

Mark Forrester that’s great I nearly bought a Toyota Corolla before I bought my corsa but I just couldn’t afford it at the time they hold there value well.
I don’t think this model of corsa is a particularly bad car it’s cheap cheerful motoring for the many and there not the worst car I’ve had that was awarded to a rover sadly lol

Hey Mark. How did you manage to get it over the the rear axle

    • @Marks-Garage

The exhaust is split in the middle with a clamp on section. Its pretty straight forward to get it over the axle with the split
