...and THAT was the day David the Music Teacher became David the Therapist.... keeping it real man!
And THAT was the day that the Vinster was blessed to hold his precious new grandson! Don’t get more real than THAT!
I want to like this comment but I can't, the number is to perfect
sorry to be so offtopic but does someone know of a trick to get back into an Instagram account?
I stupidly forgot my password. I would love any tips you can offer me.
@Milo Jayson Instablaster :)
@Jefferson Lyle thanks for your reply. I found the site thru google and im in the hacking process now.
Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
Im gonna be totally honest, that part where the bear asked if he was okay and he shook his head, genuinely cried a little, I didn't get bullied as such, but I was picked on, I suffered with selective mutism and a form of autism so I didn't speak all through school so I had next to no friends til I stood up for myself in year 10, before that, it was me, my head and music, and ive gone from that to, being a music producer :) there's always a light :)
Always my brother
Totally get where you are coming from. My eldest child suffered from selective mutism all through school and it wasn’t until she turned 18 she found the courage to speak to her grandparents. Bless you
I used to have selective mutism at school and really terrible anxiety. But I’ve come so far and even sang on stage in front of the whole school. I’ve never known anyone else who felt like that so it’s really good to know there’s other out there like me
yungblud somgs really hit. you should do casual sabotage, polygraph eyes, hope for the underrated youth, california, and kill somebody. those songs hit the hardest for me
also also, i love your take on this and your reactions in general. keep it up!! i have ur notifs on 🥰
I would throw Machine Gun in there as well
Also Mars now that it’s been released
Same!!!! Those are my absolute favs!
and mars!
I'm glad Dom's music isn't just reaching my generation, we will be the generation to change the world
I’m a middle aged person and I love seeing what today’s youth is capable of changing in this world. His music and his messages are amazing.
He wrote this song at 4am while having a breakdown in the recording booth
Honest and raw
Love the reaction. I shal now explore more Yungblood. As a parent of three grown kids, one autistic and one bisexual I totally agree with you on loving them for what they are. You can't change their essence so celebrate their differences. We lost their mum, my wife on October 9th and I am so proud of the way they have coped and cried together.
Oh John! I’m so sorry to hear about your family’s loss. You sound like an amazing dad and those kids are so lucky to have you. 🖤
The world needs more people like you)
Prayers my brother
So happy that you liked Yungblud! As a fellow parent I truly believe his music expresses exactly the kind of world I want my kid to live in when he grows older.
I'm so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. You are amazing! I wish you all the best and nothing else! Sending love from Germany, Dominik
I found Yungblud a few months ago and he has changed my life. He knows exactly what to say in his songs. My family doesnt support me for who I am but they want me to be what they want me to be and not how i wanna be. What you said at the end made me cry because I wish that I had someone that would be there for me and a parent figure to love me because I am happy with myself and love me unconditionally. I love you so much and keep doing what you are doing
I would pay to hear an album made up of all the times you paused a video to just jam on the keyboard. Honestly every time it is gold!
I’ve been doing some covers lately
If only everybody had a music teacher (or someone) like this, the world would have been such a positive place!
Pls do a reaction of Yungblud's ''mars'', such an awesome song
Many say the same!
its really powerful its for a trans fan whos parents didnt accept thrm
Ngl, hearing this song a few days after a breakup certainly hits hard. Great reaction, you're fast becoming my favourite reactor.
I really appreciate that there is an older guy (older than most YUNGBLUD fans) that talk about his feelings. Who talk about things that we, the kids nowadays feel too, but there is still not a lot of people who talks about it. Because older people refuse to talk about it, because of stigma. Man that's amazing. Thank you.
This is a late comment but the school scene is because of Dominic’s (Yungblud’s) issues with his ADHD. As someone with ADHD it hit me hard. It was a very nice thing to shed light on.
Edit:
Honestly a lot of the scenes could come down to his ADHD. It’s something he’s very vocal about. It was nice to see it represented in a video like this.
I know all yungblud's music and I cried so much watching this again, I was feeling exactly like that and damn he knows how to express feelings dude
yungblud "cotton candy" is also amazing
This is the most powerful song and video I have ever seen. I am 52 and a mother of 3 and my children had to deal with so many challenges individually throughout their childhoods and they have found so much things difficult . This song is very strong in relation to all of these issues. What a strong talented young man. My youngest child is a huge fan.
Please also react to POLYGRAPH EYES by yungblud it has SUCH an important message
I second this!! It’s a very powerful song, just like this one! I cried the first time I saw the video...
BMTH- One Day The Only Butterflies Left Will Be In Your Chest As You March Towards Your Death... Very heart felt yet haunting ballad by Amy Lee and Oli Sykes. Check it out with there new EP! Love your reactions.
Oliver Sykes 🖤
I love BMTH
Guys don't just suggest kingslayer, suggest him the whole EP song by song coz if he listen to kingslayer first the suspense is lost
truuue
Correct. And kingslayer is incomplete without Itch for the cure
@@christopherchuauhang4829 This. So much this.
this song hit me really hard when it first came out, I've struggled with depression and anxiety for most of my adult life, and hearing this song made me feel less alone in all of the bullshit, love the video by the way
i recommend "hope for the underrated youth" and "parents"🖤🖤
David, I really admire your ability to perfectly play the melody that you've just heard. Can you reccomend us any good online courses/lessons on music theory?
I can’t unfortunately
It’s a natural talent. He’s playing by ear 👂
I've just recently found your channel and have been going back through older videos and I'm so happy I discovered this song, and yungblud in general, through your reaction video. The song hit me hard and your reaction hit me hard too. I went through a lot a tough times growing up and although I don't have much musical talent, putting my headphones in and listening to music was always my escape. It's kind of beautiful how music is a lifeline to so many people. I feel like this song could be one that a lot of kids need to hear. I know I wish it was around when I was 13.
Thank you so so much for this reaction, it made me cry too (or cry again, this song has made me cry a hundred times already). I love that people from all generations see what Dom has to say and understand it and share it, as an older fan (37) and a mom I love seeing that. You're a wonderful man and father! Thank you for sharing Yungblud's music so more people can find it. 🖤 (BTW, Dom's mom shared this video on her instagram, she loved it too!) (Also, Dom said he recorded this whole song crying his eyes out and you can absolutely hear that deep raw emotion in his voice.)
This song hit me super hard too. I feel like you'll really enjoy the depth of a lot of his songs. Hope For The Underrated Youth is another impactful one. I've been trying to learn a few of his songs on piano and it's interesting to see some of the reoccurring chords he uses because I never think of his song as sounding very copy cat of each other so I think it shows how much range you can have and how creative you get with music. I feel like the emotion of his songs is what makes a lot of them stand apart.
My favorite thing is how towards the end of the video you see that he was doing those things all by himself without the help of the bear. We all have the courage to live authentically.
I see Dominic I click, this channel is so cool.
Take this from someone who has seen him live in a club with like 2000 people, the energy is like nothing I've ever felt before and will probably never feel again. It's pure electricity and love and hopefulness from everyone he is so infectious he is mental and is pretty much single handedly saving my generation.
He operates in a similar circle to a rock band called Palaye Royale who I think would be a cool reaction because they are very poetic and talented (they have a side project dedicated to original classical pieces)
Im new on this Chanel but got it suggested because I’m a YUNGBLUD fan
To be honest I first thought he was a weird dude but he actually spoke so much true things✨🖤
I've met Yungblud he's so sweet.. His music is just amazing 🖤
When you started talking about bullies I started to cry. Thank you
you should do mars or polygraph eyes by him they are both so good and bring light to heavy topics
New to this channel but can openly say this channel has definitely motivated me to listen to the lyrics, as well as the meanings behind the words more than I already do. Keep up the great work, stay blessed!
This song made me cry too the first time I heard it, and a few times after.
The sad thing is when you get stuck in a negative way its hard to get out of that funk, you will search for something to relate to be it negative or positive, music will influence you in a way and hopefully one day you will find that thing that uplifts you and you just go well fudge this and forge your own path
React to YUNGBLUD's new song, "Mars"!!! And then listen to the interview about the story behind it. He's really puttin us all in our feels.
I liked the way you spoke about Yungblud's songs. As a man who doesn't seem to shy away from the more difficult things, you should watch The Killers Land of the Free from 2020. They adapted their song to include lyrics about the Floyd tragedy. It's haunting and beautiful and live.
Love these reactions! Please do a song from the new BMTH record!
Thanks for speaking out against abuse. As someone who was and still is being abused, it means a lot.
Prayers that it stops for you, forever
I am so in love with Yungblud...I guess I'm not the only one 🖤
I found my safe place in playing music, I grabbed a guitar I had been given many years ago and started playing by myself and one day my neighbor who was 22 at that time he was going through a rough time and he saw me trying to play and he started showing me some chords and he brought his guitar and he started checking up on me and helping me progress in my guutar playing skills. He became my best friend...his pregnant wife lost a child, she left him, somebody robbed the place he worked at and he got fired and he unfortunetly passed away. I have never been able to play like I used to again. You David Morgan have been bringing me back slowly to music again. Thank You!
That makes me so happy. I’m so sorry for your loss and music can be a vehicle for healing.
@@MusicShed i completely agree with that, it is a vehicle for healing.
Have yet to make it through this video he did without tears. Love your reaction!
Yungblud Is a beautiful unique soul and we need him
Are you telling me that a reaction make me almost cry only because you said such a beautiful things about the life💙 thanks
You should react to Kingslayer by BMTH with Babymetal.
I love this. Yungblud is amazing, and I'm 61. That's ok too, Dom loves all his fans.
Every time I listen to this song, I cry, like an ocean of tears
Def needed to see that message at 8:29 ,, felt that sm. Thank you.
wow wish i heard this song sooner. Really connected with me right now. I'm slowly learning to love myself again and accept love from others.
i don't watch a lot of reaction videos, but i was curious to see how people reacted to this song, because i just heard of Yungblud a couple days ago and I'm totally in love with his music...I was expecting a normal reaction video...I was NOT expecting you to break down the lyrics and relate to them so much. thank you so much for that, i need it more than you could ever know man. thank you so much for sharing your feelings about the song and the subject matter.
I actually cried at your comments about not being trapped. Thank you.
I loved this reaction you have to do more Yungblud he’s absolutely amazing and talented!! Can’t wait to see more of him on your channel!
This song got to me because I dealt with abuse my whole life and school and I always lay in my room and almost took my life because the pain became too real he saved my fookin life he made me feel it was finally okay to be me this song makes me cry ahhh love the reaction ♥️♥️♥️
We gotta talk about it, share it, let it out. Keep going strong!
Try YUNGBLUD Polygraph Eyes please.
08:25 omg I love you THANK YOU
please react to more yungblud! He's really direct in his messages and I think you'd really like his other work such as hope for the underrated youth, medicine and kill somebody
Finally someone who agrees he's attractive and not basing their opinions on looks. (My friends dont like him bc his hair is crazy)(one reason i like him is bc of his hair, bc its his way of expressing himself and promoting individuality)
Just watched a bunch of your videos - I'm a sucker for a good reaction - but this one...this is the one that got me to click the big red button. Your raw connection to this song, the way you talked about wanting your kids and your students to always feel loved for who they are and feel respected is unfortunately a very rare trait in people these days, so you absolutely deserve for your message and your positivity to be heard. All I can give is one little subscribe, but it is certainly one of the most sincere subscriptions I've ever given.
I find so much feeling listening to Dom's music. Weird! and god save me but don't drown me out are two that I relate to the most. I love how expressive he is and makes me feel proud to be myself. Now I'm buzzing to see in live in September 😁
you should also react to "nf - how could you leave us" sir underrated gem hahaha
this music video genuinely saved my life. I was so close to ending myself and when I was days from finally doing it, this video showed that I would be okay, that it would get better. and it did. it always gets better.
LOVED THIS. big fan of YUNGBLUD
I just found you, immediately a big fan of yours.
this into tears me up everytime i watch it. This is one of my all time favorites now
Ohh hell yaa the best artist I've seen in a long time and review
Pleaseeeeee do his and Halsey’s cover of I’ll follow you into the dark!!
Omg I love her version.
I’m actually laying in the bed at 4am doing just that… love this song and thank you for this reaction video ❤
You´re underrated. Everyone should see this
This reaction was a lot more than what I expected, def worth a sub
Anybody notice how he was swinging around that mic stand with no stand base like Freddy mercury used to??
love this song so much
Every single comment that you've made on this song is absolutely right. He is very direct because he is so passionate. He's been through some shit so he understands the importance. Me personally, I'm 16 and I didn't grow up in a very good household. My entire life my dad was an alcoholic, he would scream and yell at everyone. He's called me useless and lazy. He has even punched holes in our walls. He's much better now, not perfect but better. But either way, you cant just forget everything that happened. It scars you. But remembering that what they say about you isn't true will help you move on. So, having him to connect with is a huge part of my life :)
Wise beyond your years. I hope you have an amazing life!
@@julesjustjules9857 I appreciate that :) Thank you, Jules.
Thanks David, your insights really made this song even more special to me. I hope you’re doing well.
Thank you for this ❤️❤️❤️❤️
This was a nice and inspiering reaction. Be Sure to check out more by him. And yes, please do a Kingslayer by Bring me the Horizon reaction.
New to this channel, loving the content, really appreciate the way you explain the music and the moments when you take this song and start playing on the piano, EPIC!!! Thank you
Love this!
Subscribed.
Great review🖤
Insane deep reaction Thank You !
This is beautiful man! Great reaction ;)
I LOVED THISS 🖤🖤🖤CAN YOU PLEASE REACT MORE TO YUNGBLUD🖤🖤
your reaction is really beautiful i love it
The beginning hits hard, with my home situation this is so important.
So important
You’re super inspiring my dude
Love hearing your views on music like this. People need to find others to relate to and you do a great job at being there and saying what people need. keep up the good work and have a good day everyone.
So much respect for you man your so talented 🖤🩸🖤
i saw this today and i felt like yungblud hits where you never know and u explaining it too me and to a lot of people is really awesome cause i deal with that type of stuff in my home and at school and i really like how u put it all together.
Great reaction! Thanx for the honesty and heart! ❤️
YOU are a great teacher, more than only music.
Great react to this song I just shared it in a 30+ yungblud group on Facebook for all of them to enjoy
I love this song and the video! And love your reaction, everything you said is so true. Thank you❤️
You should check out more yungblud, he’s always very direct and honest and his songs always have so much emotion. He’s great, I think you’re gonna like him!
I think is the best reaction y have seen you totally feel the message
just incredible. Thanks for the positivity. I always enjoy finding you react to old or new music : D. lots of love, i hope you are having a musical day.
You to Toke!
Do you think you could do a reaction to the new BMTH mini-album/EP? (something to note is that if you do, the song Itch For The Cure is an interlude that builds up to, then transitions directly into the following song Kingslayer, so definitely listen to those two without pausing in between because the energy those tracks have combined is unbelievable)
Yeah. YUNGBLUD has always been carrying a message through his songs, he's such an amazing person. There's lots of other songs you could definitely react to. (This comment is pretty late, but I just found your channel and I'm really liking it. Keep going!)
And I'm not really sure how you feel about rap songs, but you should check NF music out. Would be nice if you reacted to "Mansion", "How could you leave us" or "Remember this". Any song, really. It's worth it. That person is worth attention too.
Yes. Wish I could have been giving lesson this as a teen.
Damn, first vid i saw from u sir, and im subbing, respect
This song really speaks to me because of how it really resonates with my childhood and teenage years. I have severe ADHD and, as anyone who has ADHD or loves someone who has ADHD can tell you, we aren't "normal". We tend to speak out of turn, disconnect with the world, behave in odd and unexpected ways. We're often criticized, people get frustrated and annoyed with us. Even the most loving parents can get fed up with how we act. We have emotional outbursts that can swing wildly from exuberant, overbearing happiness, to extreme, overwhelming anger in the blink of an eye. We have few friends, we're bullied, we're over-disciplined and misunderstood. When I hear this song and see this video, it brings up all kinds of memories from when I was younger, being told how to act, how to dress, how to behave, but never being supported or encouraged to be myself. I just wanted to be accepted. I spent years struggling with depression, self-harm and suicidal thoughts. Now I am 35 years old and I feel as though I've spent my entire life trying to please people who can't be pleased. Now I have issues with rejection sensitive dysphoria (aka I always feel like everyone is negatively judging and rejecting me, even people I don't know just walking through the grocery store), and I struggle to accept myself.
My daughter is 10, she also has severe ADHD and she won't ever be subjected to the criticism and lack of understanding that my parents put me through. I GET her. I UNDERSTAND her.
Keep sharing, keep opening up and being honest. It will keep taking you to better places.
Omg I just cried watching this vid
If I had taken music lessons I would've picked you as a teacher. You're so down to earth lol I dig it
Please react to parents by yungblud, with they way you connected to this song, i think parents would also have a big impact on you
ty
