Nachdem Snowboarden in den letzten 10 bis 15 Jahren offenbar zum Railboarden verkommen ist, endlich mal ein Snowboardfilm, der ohne einen einzigen Railshot auskommt und den Soul des Snowboardens rüber bringt. Wer seine Heimat liebt, vorausgesetzt es gibt Berge und Schnee, braucht nicht zwingend weit weg zu fahren, um seiner Leidenschaft nachzukommen. Der Spirit of Snowboarding lebt in der Generation nach Beckna und Wolle weiter! Nach fast 30 Jahren Snowboarden ein Film, den man sich definitiv nochmal anschauen kann!
Es gab in den letzten Jahren viele gute und weniger guter Snowboardfilme und egal was jeder für sich als den "Spirit of Snowboarding" definiert Fakt ist Snowboarding wird gelebt und geliebt in seiner ganzen Fazination, Eleganz und Verrücktheit. Es gibt kein gut ,es gibt kein schlecht ,es gibt nur Snowboarding in allen sein Variationen. In diesem Sinne geht alle lieber Boarden und liebt das was es ausmacht!!! Peace

Finally! A video about snowboarding and its beauty. Instead of the trendy format with a bunch of kid, hitting repetevely urban rails, wearing grandparents's clothes, with low-fi depressing music, far away from mountains.
Thanks a lot to share with us that wonderful movie :). It's really amazing and i can't wait to go back wnowboarding next week. And +1000 for the soundtrack!
Werni Stock is so cool. Last Saturday in Hintertux, Zillertal: My little daughter completly blocked on the icy slope. No way to make her ski. No way to make her walk. No way to ski down with her between my legs. Came along a stranger on his board with an open smile: "I will bring you down." Skeptical father. Daughter still in tears. Another friendly smile and with an unpretentious, warm voice: " Trust me, I am a professional snowboarder." Little daughter stops crying, Werni Stock lifted her up and a few seconds later she was safely 400m further down. If you think that is normal: next to us were several racing teams training on the steep icy slopes: none of them offered assistance (which I did not expect, it was solely the fathers/my responsibility). However, to me it shows that the words of Werni Stock about nature and love to the mountains are not just words and marketing: He really lives this spirit, loves nature, loves people. PS: Werni Stock only told me his name because I asked him before he left with my daughter. When my daughter was safe and I was near them he just turned his board and he was gone..Not waiting for any thanks... My daughter will always remember.
