I feel for the roomate story, honestly I beleive he was in the right for giving the 60 days notice, being a landlord requires a little respect from your tennants/roomates. Unfortunatly it's just how it has to be
I feel like everybody is skipping over the fact that 1. It's the op's house and 2. One of the roommates threatened them by saying "you should go back in your room if you know what's good for you" i feel like 2 week- 30 days would have been generous after that threat let alone 60 days. Imo op was being super generous
Me too
Not to mention one of them actually threatened him (the 'if you know what's good for you' part).
If i understood correctly the girlfriend don't pay rent so liveing for free isn't enough for them not they want to buy them food?
@@dickjohnson982 Exactly! You don't threaten someone in their own home and don't expect consequences
NTJ for giving 60 day notice. Your roommate/tenant made a threat to your safety. personally, i am also a homeowner with tenants with 2 roommates and we have a 4 page written agreement regarding everything from house hold chores to kitchen etiquette and even guests covid safety.
The uncle in story #1 is a genuine hero.
roommates dont owe each other shit. He needs to feel comfortable in his own space. If they are constantly berating him he had every right and it was NOT harsh to kick them out. He gave them a big enough notice to find a new place. He was not the jerk.
There was an update on this? Saying that they really got kick out?
@@siman211 He gave them a 60 day notice and if they act like that constantly then it is very likely they are going to be kicked out. I lived with somebody like this once. I gave them a day notice due to them not being on the paperwork at that time due to the place waiting to let us update the paperwork.
you worded it kinda like he’s the bad guy but I agree
Last story: try living in a shared house/apartment where you are constantly cleaning after everyone else, people pinching your food & not replacing it, and having to always restock shared household products (toilet paper, cleaning products, etc.) ... once you fed up being treated this way despite numerous attempts to communicate these issues = you resort to only storing everything you use your bedroom including a mini-fridge.
OP is NTA .... and they are being berated for not sharing. Other tenants likely feel entitled that OP stuff & food should also be their's, they donot respect OP. Good on OP for evicting their tenants.
Story 5: My dad pulled that kind of thing on me when I was a teenager. I said "Fine." When I turned 18 I moved out and we haven't spoken in 30 years. So how'd that work out for him?
5th story: and this is the kind of mother that several years in the future is gonna wonder why her only visits and talks to her father, and doesnt even make eye contact with her.
Story 6: not the jurk. All of them are full grown adults if they need someone to take care of them why would you keep them in your house
Huge congrats to the guy who actually yeeted the child
Story 5: OP should buy his daughter a lock for her door
He's a landlord and roommate 1 threatened him that count for early dismissal.
OH GOD THE TITLE
Okay Wanda basically threatened him with witnesses he could have called the cops and take them all out that night he was to polite
The first story.
Yes it helped, but a bit aggressive
Not harsh that last roommate gave a clear threat
I'm pretty sure they don't think of him either when doing dishes. Plus they're his roommates not his children. He doesn't have to buy them stuff ooooor cook for them. Plus there is one of him, 2 each of them..they should be able to care for themselves..Plus he's provided them with a home. Yeah they may pay rent, but he's not obligated to feed them.🙄🙄🙄
*tHe bAbY!* that got me good LOLLL
Moral of the story: some people just suck.
That last one , if I was sick heck if I was just chilling in my room and my parent with a total stranger just barged in and didn’t even knock I’d be so pissed off , like at least ask if it’s ok to enter ? I get “it’s my house my rules ect “ but if it was the opposite way round and the kid barged in to the parents room I feel like the mum would be pissed off
They Full Grown Adults. They can buy there own food. I hate when roommates and their guest think they can eat my food I bought and cooked. Not my fault you can't manage your money....
Bro the speed limit in my neighborhood is 30(mph), people drive like it’s 40 but it should be 20.
Story 2: I feel it's up to the person if they wanna get a vacc. or not unless it's a situation like this aka a collage or work place policy that requires you to have one. If a school or work place doesn't require it, then it's up to the person to make the choice.
Roommate situation absolutely warranted them getting kicked out.
1. OP is the landlord, not just a roommate
2. They have been so confrontational about their own messes that OP had set up in their room in such a way that they couldn't be blamed for, and forced to clean up after, their mess.
3. They had no respect for his privacy, barging into his room and berating him for not supplying food too everyone else.
4. Slandering his character to friends and then threats of physical violence when he defended himself against the slander.
I don't know where OP is from but where I am the rules allowing eviction are different depending on if the landlord is living with you or not, i.e. notice period is shorter, process is easier, etc. Giving 60 days seems generous even in a normal situation, let alone when your physical safety has been threatened.
Sick teen:
I f-ing hated this as a teen. I intentioally left out my underwear later condoms and mess and still I was the AH. I tried to explain I don't want even family to look at my rooms new colouring, new furniture, curtains or just the room. They even tried to explain to put away my stuff to be able to show it to the relatives which I was against.
So now I just stand outside and quietly just close in their face while staring in the eyes not saying a word. Relatives got the message.
Uh no the roommate story was not overkill. You don't disrespect someone in the house they own. One if them actually threatened him so no he is not the jerk. This is why I don't have roommates and own my house. Screw that
*Story 1:* OMG! Driving at approx. 60 mph in a residential neighbourhod?! That's insane! I hope no one got hurt or killed.
Last story hes not jerk the guy owns the house and have to be living like a hermit in his own home. They don't even seem to respect him he had all rights to give them 60 days
14:45~17:36 Is this a situation that someone could legally call CPS on? 'Cause this mother's actions are indeed hurting the child, at least mentally.
Roomates dont owe each other shit,
He cooks and cleans for himself and buys his own stuff. " Sorry, i spend money on myself because it's my money" it sucks people like this exist
They barate you for just being a human being and wanting to just do things for yourself, and in this case its just eating.
It also seems like this has been going on for a while so i dont think its harsh at all
I cant wait to watch this video!! They are the best!!
btw the video output of amithejerk is insane like 2/7 every 20 hrs
I just keep wondering how insanely much reddit stories must be published on that site every day for him to fill so many video's
Tbh if I was the uncle I would added tomato juice for added effect
The Paw Patrol gameplay tho 💀💀💀
Being a roommate don't need to buy food for everyone especially stranger that he lets them rent from him personally. Then made fun of. 60 days is more than enough for them both to leave. Aside from that love your video
When he mention the children at play sign I got a Fnaf flashback
Story 1: In my neighborhood there are people who speed through my neighborhood at such high speeds that they could hit pedestrians if they cross the street if they aren’t paying attention I’ve almost been hit a few times myself.
I was once in elementary school and there was a guy in a group who kept annoying us and being an idiot. Lets call him Jake.
So Jake was telling us what to do and then i said "Bro stop telling us what do do." He said back: "I do what i want to do." This made me pretty mad and i said: Whatever, just go to do ur work. Then he said back to me: "Dont tell me what to do." So i put my hand up and said: Miss, Jake is telling us what to do. She comes up to Jake and says: Dont tell them what to do. Jake started crying at this point, I was really annoyed. The teacher takes him outside for a while then they come back in.
Then he comes back and bosses us again. So i put my hand up and said: Miss Jake is bossing us again. He crys again, Teacher takes him outside and repeat.
Am I the jerk?
It’s kinda tattletelly of you, but whatever it’s the best thing to do. I mean you told him but he didn’t listen, so it’s sweet sweet karma, NTJ
@@RaineMcLean yeah i had to go in caaps for this :skull:
I actually did a group project all by myself as a backup in 11th grade when i was intentionally put with all the slackers. i was up until 5am between fencing practice, a band concert, and making the project and report. i ended up writing the report and made the backup project. The partner teacher wanted to give me a 70% for being a poor sport after i turned it in in secret before class, after my group kicked me out, but the lead teacher told him to wait and see what my group did at presentation.
they forgot to write a report, and when asked, they looked slacked-jawed “what report? there was a report?” they earned a 49%. i earned a perfect score at the end of it all, and I was able to laugh hysterically all semester.
my teacher called them out and asked “you had another team member, didn’t you? it pays not to break your supporting beams, or you lose your house. you all fail.”
I feel like the first story went just a little too far honestly... I get desperate times/ measures... But there had to have been a better way.
ya i understand wanting to teach the guy a lesson but they kind of well to far in doing so
They should have just used a machete. It's worked for me for years now.
Issue is, there really isnt much that could be done. Signs didnt stop him, trying to yell didnt stop him, and the police werent effective. That is *all* legal and reasonable options gone. So as extreme as it is, mimicking what the guy *could* of done to someone was the only response left
@@DanielGonzalez-qk6sd he dosent flinch at tourtre he is loyal to no flag
Uh no? In the roommate story, he should have called the police and have them all evicted on the spot. One of the roommates threated his physical safety. You don't do that in my house, ever.
(Roommate story) Bruh they literally threatened him, they’re lucky he didn’t call the police instead of just kicking them out
Madea says you should have peace in two places, your house and your grave. if you dont there is a problem.. When a roomate threatens another, however innocent they would have to go. 60 days is generous especially since the house is in OP’s name. if it was me i’d pay the constible to get them evicted and write a roomate agreement that says no partners and if a partner moves in they will have to sign their own agreement and pay rent too. and food is not an included amenity. roomates may be friends but the livng arrangment is business first.
For the flu shot story I do want to say the one and only time I got the flu was when I got the flu shot never had it before and never got it after
Love your content
On the last story, when the one roommate told the OP he should leave if he knew what was good for him, he threatened the OP. Telling the roommates to move in 60 days was justified IMO.
NICE STORY
2nd OP: wonder if they learned what "Black Lives Matter When it's Convenient" really stand for, biggest scam op I've ever seen
It's more "Buy Large Mansions."
11:38 that's why I ain't messing with the nerds
The roommate storey it who's in all of his rivet to not order them food or cook food for thum
i don't think it's harsh at all. If anything i think it's the right choice that def needs to happen. Cause at this point they are insulting him and threating him. No one should live with this type of negativity and entitlement
He is an evil genius
The game your playing is great lol
I rlly want to post a good story I know but I can’t have social media and I don’t know how to send my story
*Story 1 (cont.):* I don't think uncle was the jerk in this case. Not at all. You do what you can to prevent some crazy driver from risking people's lives. At least this was a baby doll and not a live human baby uncle pushed out in the middle of the road.
I do get that, with the uncle. And yes something had to be done.. But.. That could have turned out badly as well... What if he would have, thru reflex, janked the stearing wheel, causing an accident. And yeah, not just crashing into a parked car, but then even hitting the uncles car, injuring the uncle behind it...and what if one of the kids was near there, hurting that as well (since they say the cousin isn't all to good with parenting, maybe being dumb enough to let the kids watch etc).
As said, I unstated the reason and as in the video said, difficult times and so on, but that also just could have ended more horribly 😱
So I guess free housing ain’t enough for those women smh😂
I think the roommate should have just given them 30days. The roommates girlfriends are 100% jerks. They moved in with their boyfriends and from the sound of it they didn’t ask op if it was ok. The other roommates should have told their gfs to leave op alone and just live their lives. I’ve had roommates in the past who treated me horrible because I’m an introvert. They refused to let me spend time alone. So I understand how op feels. Give them 30days to move out. Hopefully they move out faster.
Story 1 -- Someone must've been watching Speed one too many times! :D
ooo new vid
Sercend and third storys are masterpises
Oof trauma trauma trauma
camaro dude lost his marbles 5 years prior to the post he is still bus riding while the events happened 20 years before the post? sheesh
If the roommate hadnt said "if you knew what was good for you", i would had said op was being harsh. That could be taken as a threat, and the 60 days was being to nice if you ask me
The guy who pushed the baby stroller with the doll in it in front of the speeder isn’t a jerk, he’s just very irresponsible. What if he had lost control of his car, and hit Some innocent pedestrian or pedestrians? The subdivision my uncle lived in had the same problem. The subdivision was across the street from a school, and when school would let out the side street would be packed with parents waiting to pick up their children. So people who weren’t picking up children would cut through his subdivision and tear ass down the street. It got so bad that they finally just put speed bumps down the road to stop it.
Thing is it sounded like the police was no help. Yes it was irresponsible to do what he did but also *something* had to be done. If the police did their job or the camero guy listened then tactics like this would of not been used
@@DanielGonzalez-qk6sd nah dudes a massive asshole for that that uncle could have been responsible for the death of someone. It’s the equivalent of throwing a brick into the motor pass because someone’s driving erratic.
@@ell7991 Someone could of died cuz of the camero dude. Also, I *highly* doubt the uncle did it randomly without ensuring the environment was clear. Maybe this is me being possibly to nice but still.
@@DanielGonzalez-qk6sd Look. I understand that he did what he did with the best of intentions in mind, but it could have gone horribly wrong.
@@gamemasternintendoo As stated before, it is irresponsible, but there were no alternatives. It was better the uncle did what he did in a mostly controlled environment (mostly because he can ensure not to do it that day if people are out) versus leaving camero guy alone. What was the alternative? Let camero guy go and run someone over?
I agree it was not the best move or ideal move. However, it was the only move he had that would protect people from the driver's recklessness.
What game is this in the background? My little nephews would love it.
Story 2: I feel bad for the kid, had to have a mom that was a conspiracy therioist . I am life the opposite of that mom and if I saw that person, me and my best friend would have a serious talk with that person that even a normal person would die of boredom before we finished (yes we are big nerds, shut up about it)
my family is at least normal in the sense they know vaccines are good and that they know basic science at least. Wouldn’t call them perfect because they think that owing a phone guarantees you will be addicted to it but oh well.
to the antivaxx mom story, just pretend to have polio or something like this
If the OP in the roommate story had the authority or power to kick the others out, I think that was actually fine. It was weird that the OP bought 3 meals without the intention of sharing them. What's the point of 3 meals? Unless you're trying to save on delivery, or they're really small meals, more like snacks. And also 2-3 AM? All of that was really sus, like the OP set up the roommates to expect something. But the mess? And the rudeness? Not only were the roommates rude, but letting the place get that messy and dishes pile up for months? I'd've kicked them out just for that. So yes, a jerk, for some things, but not for kicking them out. Not cleaning up after themselves in their shared spaces is horrible.
W uncle
WHY ARE YOU PLAYING PAWPATROL 👁️👄👁️
Imagine in story #3 the slackers focused that attention to ACTUALLY doing the work 🤷🏼♀️
Hi
the vaccine story is special. if that happened in the US then they can not at any level require vaccines in public schools. If the collage is a private one then they shouldn't go there as they will just over pay for it
When did they start with the narrator switcheroo? I dunno why but it sounds like the narrator here is talking through his nose, he probably can't help it.
Hard disagree on the last story - the other guy threatened him and told him to "go to his room" in HIS apartment! That he can't even apparently use the kitchen in bc of them! Why should he put up with that?
what are the games he plays in the background like bro paw patrol
Why is paw patrol in the background race
That's the other thing though about that roommate story are living there with their girlfriends Not only that But it's his or her hard earned money what does the roommates not have money you don't have a job wouldn't he be making them pay for rent not only that but the factor of there are bills to pay then he's paying for his own food there intruding into his room and his privacy just because of food and dishes that is what you call they think they're entitled to everything cuz they're living there and the main character has money that he can spend on himself probably has a job and not only that but the factor of the main character could also be trying to be nice to them for years and then they start f_ing around and probably thinking is this person's paying for all the bills he's cleaning his own dishes why don't we make him do everything for us why don't we have him cook for us clean for us like we're five-year-olds that kind of attitude you always have two sides to a coin but in this situation he is not the jerk because he is the one paying for his own stuff and not only that but I haven't heard one thing about them paying rent which they're living with you wouldn't they have to pay some kind of deals or rent it sounds like he's doing all the stuff for himself while the others are just playing games sitting there being lazy and f_ing around then there's the factor he gave them 60 days to leave that's a lot more generous than any other person 60 days of leave is a lot more than 30 days to leave get your stuff out and go that gives them a lot more time to think on their actions and gets them a lot more time to leave with all their stuff it also makes them think upon their actions of what they did wrong cuz the roommates are just complete idiots I'm sorry you can admit that guy was in the right
Is anyone gonna talk about how he’s playing PAW PATROL 💀
Last Story; OVERBOARD MY FOOT, 60 DAYS NOTICE IS TOO LONG. Okay first off, Op is right to kick them out as those tenants just threatened him. Also seriously, why does Op have to buy food for them or share, "my money my food". Those girls need to shut their mouths and hit pavement.
The OP was literally threatened by a tenant, but they might have gone overboard? XD
Op was literally threatened and you think he went overboard? Check yourself.
Dude the OP was literally threatened. Tf is wrong with you?
Okay okay, i realized i should have not said might or at all, for those guys need to hit pavement. Okay guys don't chop off my head
Hello
The first story is very dangerous for the driver too, if you kick something in the streets to teach him a lesson, he could have a car crash and maybe dying or hurting other people in their yards when he loses control over his car in that Situation.
Thats why op and family are jerks in my opinion
Consider checking with the Dean of Students and expaining the financial/anti-vax situation. There may be resources and/or work study programs that you can use in that school. Sometimes just letting someone in authority know about the problem can help very much. In the past, former Mayor Bloomberg provided scholarships in Engineering. That might only apply to John Hopkins. You'd have to research that. Best wishes.
You're an adult your mother has no reason to be checking your medical records here at least in Canada I'm the only one who has access to them and less I signed forms to let my mom or say whoever check my medical records yeah her finding out that doctor should be fired
for story 6: maybe cook for them once an say "next is on you" so they get the idea
Roommate story I gotta say you are the jerk but to yourself you chose to put up with the for an extra 30 days than needed why do that to yourself
Story 1: just another reason why we are spending way too much on police if they can’t even be bothered to investigate a speeder that is endangering the neighborhood then what good are they?
In all fairness they can't investigate something if it wasn't reported.
@@franny11786 Why is there always an idiot like you who has a defense for a police officers actions even when there isn't 1
@@pocketsycho8720 *one
I guess I'm just stupid 🤷 So please explain to me how police are supposed to investigate something they didn't see and was never reported. Thanks
@@franny11786 if you watched the video they said "CALLING THE POLICE DOES NOTHING" meaning that they called the police and reported the incident and the police did not do anything meaning your excuse is invalid. Do us all a favor and roll over so the state can stomp on the other side of yah head
@@pocketsycho8720 Lmao huh I guess they did (of course thats assuming they actually called the cops and didnt just assume the cops would do nothing and didnt bother calling in the first place). They were so brief in mentioning it I guess I missed it listening the first time. Apparently you missed it as well or you would have included it in your first reply. I think you just jumped to conclusions because you were just looking for a reason to bash the police. Then later when you got some pushback went back to the video to find something to support your argument.
