WOW! Luxury shopping for designer bags and accessories in NYC has been incredible so far. Nordstrom Rack had some bags from Valentino, Micheal Kors and even Longchamp. After Nordstrom we head to Macy's in NYC and discover some new bags from Louis Vuitton including the Neverfull BB and Saumur satchel (which I prefer to the new Neverfull) and some stunning new Capucines bags - how nice are the pink versions! I reveal the LV Capucines bag that stole my heart in New York City whilst we were designer bag shopping at the end of the video.
We also take a look at some Coach and Ralph Laurent bags as well at some new shoes and bags from Gucci (the horsebit bag is not one of my favourites!). Let me know your favourite pieces in the comments...

Bergdorf Goodman and Saks are the luxury go-to stores in NYC. Nordstrom opened in 2019...then you have Fashionphile and TheRealReal boutiques. You have lots of options for your next trip!
Macy's is amazing. Lots of luxury, just not crazy snob prices. Their turnover is fast.
Bear in mind the shoes with the yellow tags were not Valentino Garavani but rather Mario Valentino (lower end brand)
Macys is kind of a joke in the USA. You need to find a Saks or Neiman marcus if you want a department store with luxury

Totally agree. Macy's here in Austin is like a Sears now. I won't be surprised if they don't survive as a department store. I would think the one in NYC is nice since they are one of the big stores and also put on the Thanksgiving Day parades. I haven't been to that one in a few years.

I have lived in the United States my whole life. And I have never been to New York. The flannel shirts are called Shackets here. It’s a shirt jacket combination. I’m glad to see you’re having fun looking around.
Oh also I loved the Cali ones with the multi colored handle. That looked very special.

Hi Steph, you should have gone to Nordstrom and not Nordstrom Rack. Furthermore, you really need to visit Neiman Marcus, Saks and most importantly Bergdorf Goodman for luxury! Not sure who advised you to come the states especially NY and shop Macys or the rack for luxury.

Yes Macy's herald square just a bit more of a historical landmark. Bergdorfs, Bloomingdale's, Neiman Marcus. A+ shopping. I hope your next visit you can go to the SoHo area, or even Columbus Circle. There are sooo many super cool independent shops as well downtown. Basically, when I get off the train, I make a B line right out of midtown. 😅 Looked like an absolutely gorgeous day, though, in the Big Apple 🍎 😊
Hi, Steph - Head to Bergdorf Goodman or Saks Fifth Avenue - not sure if you can film in either of those stores. You will find all of the designer brands in those two stores and Nordstrom, as mentioned by another viewer. Bergdorf Goodman is just my favorite store in NYC. Check out the restaurant on the 7th floor for lunch or tea (make a reservation). A real treat! Hope you had a ball in NYC!
I didn't know that there were Macy's stores that carried Gucci and Luis Vuitton . (Macy's is a national chain) Most Macy's stores are geared for either middle income or upper middle income depending on the neighborhood. I remember years ago mentioning to a sales clerk at the Macy's in Annapolis , Maryland that I had better luck finding clothes at the Waldorf, Maryland store and she told me that the Waldorf store is a "C" store. We can probably assume that this NYC Macy's store is an "A" store.

One of my favorite bags is the Bedford medium satchel by Michael Kors, bought in Florida. I'm not sure how much they are showing it now, mine is in a lovely pebble leather.
That Celine bag is gorgeous. I think it might be my favorite bag of yours. And at 9:30 there's a guy with his pants down behind you, LOL.

Macy’s is great. Love that store💕 Come to the West Coast!! We have outlet shopping that’s just too fabulous!! I think we in Vegas have 4 outlet stores that are amazing!!

Yes, they don't have the highest end. Not that kind of store. You won't get a Tom Ford lipstick at CVS. But you will get good prices on many items.
Same with Macy's.
You can get Tom Ford make up at Macy's. But you won't get Dior clothes
If you have the money for the highest end, great. But don't badmouth stores that smart people shop.
If you make it to Dallas, go to North Park mall. They have one of the BEST LV stores. Ask for Yuki, she’s the best!😊

Saks has great luxury handbags on first floor and the whole eighth floor is designer shoes. Macy’s is great if you are in the area and need to use a public restroom

@@Handbagholic I actually think they are better at the main store on 5th avenue and 57th. The fendi SAs at Saks though are the absolute best.
Unfortunately I've found limited stock in London. US has so many more products on luxury brands... Corporate hubs are US based, and they don't want to lose face by not having products to sell nationwide to retailers. I've found the UK is very limited on bags. Once there are gone, distributions are difficult to restock...have the best time in Texas 🤠 🇺🇸
Nordstrom rack on 14 street in union square is the best one in the city. The other ones are a crap shoot

Bergdorf’s, Saks, Neiman Marcus these are the stores you should check out if you want high end. Macy’s is not high end and really Nordstrom isn’t either imo

OMG! I am a little embarrassed for us here in the US with this shopping trip 😂. I do have to say that Nordstrom Rack is a crap shoot and has gotten more like a TJ Max. It’s looking more like outlet products rather than actual boutique at a discounted price. I’m shocked the NYC store was that bad. That looked very disappointing. I’m sorry 😂. Sometimes you can find some cute Tory Burch things there and Veronica Beard is a nice brand, but I don’t think you got a great representation of that. Lucky Brand has cute things but I don’t think Macy’s buys the best selections. It’s more hippy/boho vibes. You are only finding Gucci and LV at Macy’s because it’s the NYC flagship. I would skip Macy’s if you are looking for higher end European brands especially anywhere in the US that isn’t a major city. You don’t find high end European brands at a regular Macy’s. They might have some luxury cosmetics but that would be it. I hope Saks was better. I’ll look for that video.
I don’t like Michael Kors; I can’t think of any MK bags that are an original design; MK just copies other designers bags.
I actively avoid Macys 😅 most of them are sad and dusty 🙈 I’m also not a fan of outlets or outlet brands. Rather just save up to buy something I really like from a boutique or go for a smaller contemporary brand with better quality
