Hey Matt, do you have any other Bunyan clips, specifically the ones with kiddos? My dad and uncle were on frequently and we'd love to see them! Thanks for posting, they loved going down memory lane!
I'm sorry but this is the only recording kept of the show. in fact it came from an old video tape format called 2 inch quad. Richard kept this one show, this kind of tape cost around $500.00 per hour. In the late 1970s he brought the tape back to KHSL to be copied to a then "modern" format called 3/4 inch video cassette. Richard had 1 new copy and KHSL kept one. I made a copy of the KHSL tape that was lost some time ago. Dino Corbin, long time KHSL Manager thought the tape was a myth until I posted my copy. I worked at KHSL in the late 70s and early 80s. I watched Paul Bunion when I was 3! I got to meet Paul a few times in the years befoer he past away. He was a great man.
What year was this taped i always be Richard kiel fan i loved the jaws part he had in james bond i really thought u could get steel teeth lol. rip to Richard kiel the gentle nice giant
I’m not a Dr Pepper fan, but this proves advertising works because now I want one.
the moment you realize that Paul would eventually get metal teeth and fought James Bond
... and be that fearful murderer Reese on "Silver Streak". OMG, that large evil looking man scared me in the 70s when I was a kid!
