@@richarddaddio360 yes my plug wires was loose inside the connector. I didn’t need to swap any wires it just needed to be tightened. I have a video in my channel explaining what I had to do if you need more help
@@michaelmarsala5767 correct! Check your connections, re strip and tighten them onto sam terminals Then u just plug into standard configuration nema 14-30 outlet 289-556-8488 if u need to send photos for verification
Yeah I ended up swapping the hot and neutral and it started working. Was pretty worried I was gonna burn it out but from this video it showed enough to get me going.

So even though they used black for ground the 14-30 still gets wired the normal way?
