  • Erik and Lyle Menendez will have a new shot at freedom after 35 years behind bars for murdering their parents. Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Michael Jesic reduced the brothers' sentences from life in prison without parole to 50 years to life, making them immediately eligible for parole. B/S... These two were grown men when they murdered their parents. If they were in fear of their lives, both could have moved out. They didn't have to stay at home... They were adults... but they wanted the $$$. Prison forever !

Vthey the murdered victims never were prosecuted because they were murdered and it was all staged.
They didn't just want to end the abuse they wanted their father's money.
They still have not said they are guilty.
It be a shame to give them a second round at hurting anyone else.

Redemption does not mean you unhurt the people you hurt or even that you are forgiven, It is simply being a better person and learning from your mistakes. I for one believe in second chances after the punishment is served. Some people are so blood thirsty and incapable of empathy. How long is long enough if not 35 years for 2 abused kids? 40? 50? 80? Where is your line? and if you dont have a line then you need some self reflection on why you are so jaded and should perhaps look into some redemption for yourself.

The greatest trick that Satan did was make everybody believe that he didn't exist.
And the greatest trick these two
    have done is convince everyone
    that they are ok.
    But that's what evil does!
