Its so sad when you see Jo cry at the end, it must’ve been so hard to do looking back at all the kids that had absolutely loved them for years, and I bet some of those kids would have been in tears too
I was in absolute tears when this aired, can't believe they split up. I've still got their albums and singles and dvds (the greatest hits dvd and one of their tours)
Tanto talento, tanta juventud y se despidieron. No parece justo. El mundo de la musica dejó ir buenos artistas con canciones llenas de letras profundas.
I really love them.. 😍 I was on my 6th grade when it became popular here in PH.. ❤️ Hoping you can have a reunion concert here in PH anytime soon with Paul.. ☺️
I freaking cried at this when watching my mom thought I had hurt myself lol .. my sister was even worse she literally had a meltdown lol .. gutted they split but as they say something good cant last forever
I missed this performance at 13 because I had a paper round. I saw the "love ain't guna wait for you" but missed this. I have searched for years and only today 20 years later seeing it for the first time ❤️😭😭 thankyou
I think another reason the group ended was because the popular music landscape was changing, other 90s pop band also disbanded or entered into hiatus around this time.
@@charlottelouise1409 this happens with every musician. You make the most from touring so 3 tours divided by seven (Paul would get his cut even though he left, he performed) wouldn’t be much and the most money comes from touring and writing songs. (Which they wrote a few, but not many and they only toured the UK and ireland I believe) Simon Fuller is known for screwing over groups and artists, worse than Simon Cowell. /: almost every artist from American idol parts with Simon Fuller for a reason lol
@@xragdoll5662 this. It’s also part of the reason the spice girls ditched him. But they made more because they cracked america and wrote most of their songs. I prefer S club but I’m just using spice girls as example.I think the only songs they wrote that were singles are their debut Bring it All Back and Don’t stop movin. Both no1 so it’s not like they can’t write. But the rest of the songs are either b sides or just on their albums
I dunno, I feel S Club just came to a natural end and as bad as it is saying this in April 2023, the band did manage to soilder on fairly well without Paul Cattermole, certainly better than Take That did without Robbie Williams or the Spice Girls did without Geri Haliwell. But genuinely I think their time had simply run out and they all knew it. It's interesting that although Jo did most of the heavy lifting on vocals, Rachel by far had the brightest solo career, being a darling of the lads mags and competing on an early series of Strictly.
@@jamesmt142 not really. The thing is a lot of the stuff they did after Paul left was more than likely was already in the planning/recording stage before he left. Seeing double album was prob in the process of being written before he left. His voice is on some of the tracks on that album, I just can’t remember it off the top of my head. Same as the movie. They were prob already in talks about it before he left, he was also in what? 5 episodes of viva s club tv series. Most of the stuff they did was not as successful as previous works. It done well but not that well after he left.
I think it would be a really good idea if all of you guys enter fame academy this coming year at Wembley stadium 28 of August an addittion normally if you make through to 4 week of the competition you've secured your self record deal it 25 pounds to enter fame academy this coming year up front which I think is a prretty good investment since the record deals that get handed out are worth billions of pounds Richard park values all of your voices at 895 billion record deal each
Why don't you guys enter fame academy this coming year and addittion they won't start competition until they have enough people so far they have 9 they need 3 more people to open competition on August the 28th at Wembley stadium I suggest you guys enter fame academy quickly once other people have heard about this to these spaces probably won't be around for long ,.
Paul left the band in 2002 and S Club 7 rebranded to just S Club. He was due to rejoin the band for the reunion tour until his unexpected death last week. He did, however, appear in the retrospective clips in the Say Goodbye video.
Live? 😂 no this is mimed. I can’t for the life of me understand why though. I’ve had the opportunity to hear all of them actually live and every single one is a talented singer in their own right so why on earth did they mime so bloody often.
Probably because they danced a lot during their shows so it was easier to mime so they wouldn’t run out of breath or because the shows they were on enforced using a backing track.
That was a lot of performances back then, even the Spice Girls' most famous live performance Who Do You Think You Are with Geri's Union Jack dress was mimed. I think it's a Simon Fuller thing. I recall Bradley or Jo mentioned they practically had to beg Simon to let them sing live on their tour.
So what real fans shouldn’t care if you live in for the music like who are they were meant to do who cares what they say… Or the single life I love you and I will continue love him no matter what real thing is I’m going to sit there and care about them not whether they would say we’re not
A shame this one is mimed - given away at the end when Jo is (understandably) crying but still delivering a perfect vocal. Note how the director very quickly defocuses and goes to a wide shot!
Why all of you guys enter fame academy this coming year I'm going to be addittioning to to see if I can get a career in the future, I think you guys should do the same it's only 25 pounds to enter fame academy,.
20 years on and i still cry like a baby at this
18 years later & I'm still in 😭 watching this while able to remember all the words. Would love another comeback with music this time 🤞
The best time ever ...The 90s . If only I could turn back time.😢
They're on tour this year in England

true love never dies..
You've got to love Tina !!!
Yeah Shes Cute I Have Crush!!

I heard they got ripped off by either their management or record company & got paid less than minimum wage.

S Club 7 1 Hit Wonder(full) with Hannah at the Helm made this one of the most memorable songs of all time.
Sclub had 4 number 1 singles in the UK
Iloved them wen iwas achild and today
2023 the reunion tour is on. As a gay lad in the 90s in UK. They were as good or even better than STEPS X

there is something ALWAYS dark about pop groups...especially when they split.
Great RIP Paul
What a singer Adel move over
this is their most beautiful song.
Why did they split ...? So sad 😊😊😅😢😢😢😢😢❤❤❤
The video quality is terrible, but the singing...
NOICE!
Paul's not there

Joe has the best pop voice
