  • The stock cooling system has lines running through the throttle body to help with frost in the colder climate areas. However if you live in a hot climate or dont drive your car in the winter, then all those lines are doing is heating up your intake air temps! Lets take a look at what you need to do in order to properly bypass your throttle body coolant lines, enjoy!

    Love your channel man. You keep your videos clean and concise, just like the Z. Have you thought about doing a video on replacing the CHTS without removing the timing belt cover etc? There aren't any good videos on it and I'm sure the community would find it helpful. I would at least!

      I would, however theres so much stuff removed from my engine, including the cover that I can already easily remove it haha

    Where does the other side connect too? Did you also disconnect the plenum lines?

    • @BSDKllr
      @BSDKllr 5 років тому +2

      Coolant comes from the intake plenum on the passengers side through the air regulator into the turbo, then from the turbo it comes out into the throttle body and into then back into the thermostat housing.

    • @TurbochargedCreations
      @TurbochargedCreations  5 років тому

      @@BSDKllr Yes as stated above, one port is on the passenger side of the lower intake near the injectors, and the other is a tube coming from under the lower intake going to the thermo housing
