In ‘CHAT-SHIRE’, my first album I took part in producing in my 20s, I used a bunch of flowers as a metaphor for my age.
Be it fancy flowers or small flowers. Back then, I believed that I would be in full bloom when the time comes.
In my 30s, I realised that there’s no reason and no need for everything in the world to become flowers, so I’ve decided to live as a holssi (spore) fluttering softly in the sky. Like a shopper who doesn’t get tired of (shopping), I want to look around and roam about without a destination in mind, putting in my shopping cart various options that are on display from everywhere in my world.

In conclusion, her whole new album is indeed the answer to Chatshire (the title track "Twenty-three" shows the uncertainty of a young adult)

The MV is literally showing life as a dandelion. She's saying we should live life like a dandelion chill and go with the flow and dont be afraid to fly high, follow your dreams like she did, started as a flower/spore stuck in the ground then flew high

Out of all the interpretations and reactions I've read and watched so far, you're the only one who thought that IU was a witch in the mv. LOL! I can also see why the mv kinda looked weird, maybe because the bodies floating looked more like balloons rather than real people? But the song is basically about being free like a (dandelion) spore fluttering splendidly in the sky rather than blooming like a flower, that's why they are floating.
Both the song and the video are so cool. That beat is awesome. I'm ready to listen to it forever. Queen IU never disappoints.

ngl, at first i was “meh” about this song. The more times I listen to it, I fall in love with it. The beat is so catchy. I love the “ you say hoo, i may fly” part.
The scene where IU sings “follow me, gonna go to win” she falls back and turns into confetti flying into the sky is a really cool effect in the music video.

The "rap" part gave me major BiBi vibes and because of that now i need this collab to happen because that would simply be the best thing to ever happen.
