Thanks for the video. Just received my lens and tested it out. Takes great sharp pictures, but this lens is HUGE and HEAVY to use as an everyday lens on the Sony a6400?
I have now used my own Tamron 17-70 that I bought after using the borrowed one, and it is as sharp as I could wish for. Certainly much sharper than Fuji 18-135 that I previously used as general walkaround lens, and it feels that Tamron doesn't need to be stopped down as much as 18-135 to get full sharpness.
One of the most useful and (most soothing) lens comparisons and reviews I've ever seen. Subscribed, thanks!
Thanks! I'm also editing now another Yt video on experiences on using Tamron lens during two weeks of hiking - more focused on video.
Great footage and written review! Very helpful!
Thank you! There's more to come as soon as I have used the lens a bit more...

Thanks! It is large, yes. I guess that's the price for f2.8 😂
@@exposedpaths I might look at the Sony 16-70 f/4?
@@mden2490 sorry I do not have experience on Sony ecosystem 😕
@@exposedpaths thanks
Thank you for the samples and comparison
Thanks for the feedback 🙏
Tanks for the video. Does the IBIS was active in XT4 while you were shooting?
Thank you! I had OIS on, but not DIS (digital stabilisation = cropping). I think with DIS the video footage would have been completely stable.
@@exposedpaths 👍🏻 Really tanks
Thanks, liked it. 👌🏻
Thank you!
No bs. Good review
Thank you!
now im thinking if im going to sell my 16 to 80🤦
I did just that. My copy of the 16-80 was soft and this Tamron lens is much sharper.
