Man. I was maad! but after, even considering that the other bikers just rode pass, sigh, I had to be thankful, lots of riders have similar falls n don't live to tell the story. That kid did more for me than anyone else

Honestly falls like that are a part of the game take it from me fam but reviewing the video i saw what happened for you to fall you had a slight lean angel plus the rain and the down shift then you started to front brake so the front wheel slipped and the back followed through so thats why it sent you sliding on your back and honestly you didnt do anything wrong or you wasnt speeding or went too hard on the front brake its just the rain and a just part a rain riding my prefrence when riding in rain is to be straight up before any type of break evn if its a down shif and honestly i rather a back slide than a front slide cause back slides or just simple drift and or a burn out but as i said its part of rain riding
Nuh matter what you did slow fast dosnt matter you would have slipped front wheele slips theres no coming back just gkad a car neva a come to hard behind yuh

Hi paradise biker, Eve time to u. I know those man hole covers 're dangerous and the rain was falling, I suspect some diesel oil could 've came of a truck that had a full tank and just a little bit spill on the road and on to that cover and rain water mix with it and that resulted in the bike just skid out cause u were not riding fast at all I watch everything I rewind and rewind again and I saw u did nothing that was wrong but as a biker my self yes those painting in the road is very very dangerous not only to bikers but drivers as well. I 'm glad that nothing serious happened to u. Don't let it get u down just keep on riding and be good to other bikers as well don't mind that those other bikers didn't come to u ok? U be good and take care and stay focus bro.bless up and one love. Ah gone.
Jah know David this comment moved me, I am extremely grateful to have life still & made it out with just a scrape. Thanks a millie for your support man, and your theory definitely is right! a little gas or even oil on the road + water + the slippery manhole cover is a recipe for disaster. I definitely won't let it get me down and it hasn't, it just opened my eyes more to some simple things that I may have taken for granted on the roads.
Yow fam you just afi always be careful and you can't be too careful because everything just appended so fast. God bless mi g because we have bike too and no body want that to happened to dem
Jah know star! Sorry bout that mi G! Glad fi know after everything you are ok and have no major injuries! Give thanks, God is good all the time. Respect bro
God is good all the time for real star, thankful for only minor bruises. No one wants this to happen but its part of the process. Thanks for the support
Mi a watch yuh vedios them 9 months now bro gad . But this one is depressing to watch worst how the next bike man then not even provide assistance bro but mi glad you come through okay G gawn mek vedios 💯💯
Man and I appreciate your support over those 9 months. Here's what, the fall is all part of the bike game, just gotta ensure everytime you fall you get back up n learn from your mistakes. That's what I'm doing here. Terrible to watch indeed. But we have life still yuh know
Glad this was only a low spped spill. Most are btw. May i suggest you condition yourself to use more engine breaking and rear brake at in town speeds. Hard to do i know but a rear wheel wash out at low speed is far easier to control and recover from. Once the frount wheel washes out there is little or no chance of recovery. Here speaks a man with 45+ years of riding. Including two years of messenger riding in london city. No i am far from perfect i have had my fare share of in town spills. One open road calamity. (that still causes me some grief in cold weather on my left knee and hip) So pleased to see you had proper gloves on. Stay safe. Shiny Side Up. Maybe ill see you in December. Suggested to Hennessy that a boxing day or new years day ride might be a goid thing. You young guns just have to remember to leave some of the food for the old man arriving at the food stop last !
Yea man, I preach and live by engine braking, n I can't understand why some people don't do it. I learnt alot from this spill n what hurts me was the fact that I had no rear brake because that's the brake I use the most in almost every 'applicable' situation. Thanks for looking out Christopher. Hope you do get to JA, n hope I'll have my bike fully functional for a ride out too
Bless up yuhself mi g! I come from rocky road in Westmoreland and sometimes the big stone them move around under the front tire and can drop you as well. I’m glad your alright and can continue. Jah kno
Glad you are safe and nothing serious happened. You handled the situation well and you were prepared for the slide (those gloves saved your hands man), unlike those other three bikers you left at the stoplight with no protection outside of helmets. I think you missed one thing though, the manhole was part of the problem but if that was the only issue your tires would are regained traction immediately and you wouldn't have gone down. What really caused you to go down was the wet manhole + the uneven road surface the immediately followed the manhole. In fact, it looks like the manhole is on a little hill if you look at how the water settles to the front and the left sides. This uneven road surface comes courtesy of our lovely NWC road demolition crew. So what happened in full was the slippery manhole caused the front-wheel to slide and when the front wheel tried to regain traction it found itself suspended in air (albeit a few millimeters but it was enough). Basically a slip with a mini-launch. Also, it's been my experience that one accident typically follows another. Case-in-point, the dutty coaster man that nearly runs you over. Immediately after an accident, I'd be twice as cautious because I'm superstitious like that, and also there might be a serious issue on the bike that is not obvious in the heat of the moment. This happened to me personally on Manninghill Road when a Taxi came out and bumped me to the ground. After we finished talking and exchanged insurance info I realized that my front brake lever has broken off. I had to ride home on back brakes only. It's time to invest in a pair of sliders. They would have saved your fairing in this case. I believe I've seen your model bike with both front and rear sliders, you should look into it. Again, kodos for handling the situation well, being brave enough to post the video online, and for being prepared. Safe travel on the gravel!
Thanks soo much Julian for that evaluation there and you my friend have a point that road surface has a few lumps & bumps in it which definitely would have resulted in my front wheel slipping n all. Thanks so much for looking into that, I accept al critique & opinions. And to add to it, after the crash, I lost pressure in my front brake, so you see when I was crossing that lane n the coaster was still driving up on me, I had 0 front brake so I could only go forward & I am the same in regrds to that superstition ha, once 1 bad happens it just seems like the world of bad follows.
You know as well, countless persons told me to get some (crash bars/frame sliders put on) and because I was neglectful I didn't even get around to doing it. But now serves as a big eye opener my friend. I told myself I wasn't gonna post it because IDK if I was strong enough to handle the criticisms n all but someone told me I'm a huge inspiration and regardless, I can make a lesson out of a bad situation. Pride aside, here we are. Thanks alot for your support, God bless
Bro Glad to know you're ok🙌🏾🙌🏾💪🏾💪🏾!!, When you check it🤔🤔, you Break and with the SANDING WATER!!, IF you was on the Outside either left or right you would not have fallen 👊🏾👊🏾, but it happens to the BEST OF US!!!, as Long as you GET UP BRO YOU GOOD 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾, BLESSINGS ON THE ROAD 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾.
Yea mon, Thanks for the tip. It does happen to the very best indeed. So nothing to be ashamed about. Now I figured out what actually caused it (front brake locking up) so gonna explain in a vid. N nuff respects for looking out mon, blessings 🙏🏾
Paradise facts you talking about this accident this one was really not Good you trace everything from the cause to the effect lol hope you doing good as well as your motorcycle hope you get to repair it stay safe fam.
Facts me brethern, I had to get down to the nitty gritty of things. I really wanted to know what went wrong and It certainly helps. Yea, l'll deal with the cosmetic damage soon
Woowww!!! My anxiety built up when it led up to that moment. It looked like a controlled slip.👍🏾 Though it wasn't planned. That video footage came in handy to review the scene, huh. Really grateful that you just got bruises. Sorry it happened to you.
That's right, I'm glad I was wearing my gloves (usually when it starts raining I take them off) but this time I had them on for the right reasons. The footage also was a huuge help, cause I swear I didn't know what I did wrong, so now reviewing it and getting some comments from you guys help e to understand what took place. Ah swear I appreciate each n everyone of you. Still have life so thats the best blessing now.
Glad to know yuh safe mi bredda.i been riding since 2004 in u.s,had 3 spills.my advise is wear up some knee pads, and back slider also, slow down when wet,be very careful riding between traffic,I had car doors swing open on me and drivers suddenly change lanes that could have taken me out.be safe.god bless!
I'm definitely gonna invest in some knee pads, I've bought a full set before including elbow protection but they never seem to fit me. And yea I definitely need to cut my speed on the wet roads, thanks for those pointers man, I appreciate it. Ride safe out there as well man
Wow😮, Omy goodness! this looks serious. I'm glad you had the camera on .The road is wet so you have to be careful, I'm glad you alright and you didn't hit the car.Good thing you had on the helmet as the little boy pointed out .Just take your time ,you talk bout you coming down easy easy that look swift to me ..I'm not a rider so it look that way to me..🙏🏾
It looks frightening and was indeed. It does seem like I was going a bit too far for the conditions and with that I have adjusted all those errors. I'm extremely thankful for life n that I didn't get any major cuts n such.
Jah know blood mi know the feeling , it reach mi already 2 time, mi neva know how mi drop until after investigating the matters deeply, The first one was caused by sand left over by a dumper truck conveniently at a roundabout and the next one was just a wet road scenario similar to yours. Glad yuh alive still.
@@ParadiseBiker been enjoying your content for quite some time now. Probably might join you for a ride one day in the future to come. Keep up the good content.
Yea that's right, if you don't have a passenger on the back then you know how that go. Respect same way me G, I'm happy I didn't have no additional expenses indeed.
You must remember, the roads are very slippery out there, oil on the roads when i just start raining, the road surface is worn out, in the uk, the government always resurface the roads.
Me G, it was an eye opening experience, every drop is. But this one got me real good, And I'm thankful, still have life n made it out with a minor bruise.
Its blessing to see you are Ok i could not take the fact watching your great vids and have this end . ride safe always and wear you SAFETY gears .BLESS.seem you had a front wheel hydroplane or you applied front brake .
Thanks soo much Sary, you've been with me since the get-go and I'm extremely grateful and honored to still have you here. I am definitely thankful to still have life after that, my gear saved me alot of injuries and expenses for sure
Yea, just part of the bike game. Glad I didn't ge anything much besides a bruise. Some say the riders didn't stop because of the rain but idk man, that's how it is, I was blaming them but I cant no more.
Yea, that dang sewer cover man, gave me a rude wake up call. In regards to the lane now, if you take a look I was riding in the left side of my lane, normally I ride in the tyre tracks of vehicles cause u know once rain falls the oil on the road lifts up, so I was doing my best to avoid it. SO the dry spot would normally have the oil n the spots with the water would normally be oil free. dat me did ah try do.
You know the second I saw the title and saw that it was raining...I knew exactly what happened before I saw it. Very similar thing almost reach me. I'm coming from barbican side crossing the TGIF 4 way intersection heading towards the same bus stop you were under. It was also wet. Right as you pass through the intersection there's a square metal plate covering a manhole or something and it's a slight bend. As the rubber reach the wet metal plate i felt the front slide out and I barely managed to catch it. Lesson learned from that I avoid all manhole covers etc. If it's not asphalt I not riding over it in rain. Good to see you're okay though and it's a minor incident👍🏾
Soo true ma brethren! Avoid them at alll cost mon. Reviewing my video, I wish I was going slower, the outcome might have been different. But who knows. - Ride Safe man, stay Vigilant
glad u ok mon ...but mi c weh gwan ......seems ur front brake lock up wen it got on the manhole cover ..so that caz ur front wheel to lock up for a sec ...and wen it reached the road compound it gripped back up .
Jah know mi genna, Haffi careful pon the wet road deh. Looks to me like you started braking a little too late so you had to apply a little more brake than you should have or there was a little oil spot right where you touched the brake but I could be wrong. Happy you good though and it wasn't too serious. Bless up and stay safe.
Nuff respect man, I myself wondering If I hit the brake too hard, but I'm almost sure I didn't, there are so many factors that resulted in this I swear, just happy to walk away free from it. Nuff respects
@@ParadiseBiker Yeah man totally understand. As you said just happy you walked away from it without any serious injuries and the bike is ok. Have to always give thanks when you go down and live to talk about it. I've had two serious accidents. The most serious one was when a bus drove out on me. Stopped in the side of the bus, was knocked unconscious. My arm was opened up and broken. Spent 10 days in the hospital. This was 2016 and up to now my hand can't be completely straightened. I'm very grateful to be able to talk about it and still able to ride.
I fell off my new brand bike last week_ the train line at maypen bridge slide me and i tried to step off the bike... when stepping off my cross bag hutch on the mirror and we both hit the asphalt 😂 it was a drama.. i only got a small burn on my knee . couldn't even find my slippers😂. I tried
Jah know me G! brand new bike oh gosh, I feel your pain but this also funny star😂💪, but in light of the situation you didn't sustain no big injuries. Praise God man. Hey sometimes those train tracks catch me good for real in Clarendon & St. Catherine. Be careful out there man, slow down over those tracks

You got it man! That tar isn't afraid to scar. Currently getting some new gloves n looking to get some knee n elbow protectors soon 💪🏿. Respect me brethren.
That's right! when these kinda things happen, it gives you a good wake up call and as you say, gotta take a reality check, slow down n think things through
@ 24:49 If I was there my reaction would by damn bro that sucks you alright your bike alright? and tell you since you going to repair the bike might as well get a louder exhaust or something lol but thats just me
Yo bro... Is there a rule of thumb or practice you use to judge the spacing between vehicles when you passing them? Maybe a video on this if none already.
Fam I was watching from the start till you fall off I know exactly when you was going to fall my point of view you were riding too fast on that road and the cars add stop on the light and you start showing down too late on a wet roads trust mi fam watch again and pree it I from watching I knew you were going to fall right there but give the almighty thanks. Like the video it is a good one for a lot of young widers . it simple as that to fall from a bike. It's good to wear a helmet and gloves
True, any simple mistakes on a bike n you're down on the ground. Thanks for your view there. I encourage all Bikers to wear gear, dress for the fall n not the ride

Yo Paradise Biker, glad you were able get up and get back on your bike.. I am a little disappointed that the other bikers did not stop, helped you to picked up your bike and make sure you are good to get back on your bike. Here is the U.S. rain, sun shine, or snow we never leave the scene of a down biker, until we are certain he or she is good to go. Blessings bro.
Now that's the culture I want in Jamaica. Too many are all for themselves, yet still when they get stranded on the road they want help. It's a each one reach one kinda thing for sure. But I hope I can change my little neck of the woods one rider at a time. Nuff respect ma brethern, appreciate it
Actually you hit a bump in the road before you dropped. It's like a manhole cover or something in the road. If you watch back the video you will see what happened. I am glad you came out unscaved. Next time watch for that.
Glad you're ok man, sad that not many people, if anyone at all even came to help. Shoutout to that young kid though 💯

RIGHT! gotta have your eyes open and your head on a swivel out there. Thankful to have made it out with minor scratches. One Love me brethern
You fall because your in the water line and also shifting down the compression locked the back wheel bike slide from under you
I always see you on tiktok thank God your ok tho
Thanks alot for your concern man! Yes indeed thanks be to God everything is alright
Ride safe out there as well man
I knew what to expect and it still caught me off guard 🤦🏾♂️ glad you gud though
Ye me G, made it out with a minor scrape and you know its all part of the bike life experience. Nuff respect for looking out
Wow😮, Omy goodness! this looks serious.
Dang, its never a good thing to hit the pavement, but once you are able to get up, That's where you gotta be thankful indeed.
- Ride safe out there

Yea that's right, if you don't have a passenger on the back then you know how that go. Respect same way me G, I'm happy I didn't have no additional expenses indeed.
You must remember, the roads are very slippery out there, oil on the roads when i just start raining, the road surface is worn out, in the uk, the government always resurface the roads.
Jah know star sorry fi see that happen to yuh fam. Hope yuh good sed way.

a just life bro sorry fi see that still glad u ok an none adi man dem no come help u
Yea, just part of the bike game. Glad I didn't ge anything much besides a bruise. Some say the riders didn't stop because of the rain but idk man, that's how it is, I was blaming them but I cant no more.
A the sewer cover mek you drop cause it slippery but i also notice that you were riding in the stream of water haffi try ride in the dry spot bro
A dat cause it mon same thing mi a pree
Yea, that dang sewer cover man, gave me a rude wake up call. In regards to the lane now, if you take a look I was riding in the left side of my lane, normally I ride in the tyre tracks of vehicles cause u know once rain falls the oil on the road lifts up, so I was doing my best to avoid it. SO the dry spot would normally have the oil n the spots with the water would normally be oil free. dat me did ah try do.
Waaow! this is awful! I hope everything is ok
Indeed, and all is well.
Glad yuh good still bro 👊🏽
Real way me G, still have the breathe of life
You know the second I saw the title and saw that it was raining...I knew exactly what happened before I saw it.
- Ride Safe man, stay Vigilant
minor crash that still glad seh you gud still
True true, could have been worst, have to be Thankful.

Sorry you crashed, thank God you're alive but I also noticed you breaking the stoplight and riding in the lane of the upcoming traffic, not wise.
glad u ok mon ...but mi c weh gwan ......seems ur front brake lock up wen it got on the manhole cover ..so that caz ur front wheel to lock up for a sec ...and wen it reached the road compound it gripped back up .
That's right! That exactly what happened man.
Thank God u ok. A jus soh it go sometimes, a serious ting u seh bout di manhole covers
Right, it's all part of the bike life. And man those covers gave me a rude wake up call mon, can't take them likely
Man I know you'll be ok, but that was scary.
Yes indeed, I'll be quite fine

Suh it guh bro, I ride a bike also, Be careful, it’s because water is on the road ; Road Slippery.
For sure my brethern, wet roads and I just didn't think about the sewer cover in the road as well. Gotta be extra careful
Yo bro... Is there a rule of thumb or practice you use to judge the spacing between vehicles when you passing them? Maybe a video on this if none already.
Once you know how tall your handle bars are and how big your bike is it's just judgement that rules ..its Kinda hard to explain
@@ParadiseBiker Make sense, love your videos fam keep it up 👍
