I loved the look of the century class dashboard. When they came out in 05 with them that was the only thing I like bout them. All this yrs now they look alright to me know
Thanks got it done the 2022 122 SD has the same issue, used a screw driver to hold the plug from falling inside, thanks again for the tip, The washer botton could take anywhere from seven to fifteen pushes before it would spray, would drive me insane sometimes
Hey clutch and rusty. Hope your holidays were good. I'm still waiting on a load to get moving again...planner must still be on vacation...lol. be safe out there and say a prayer that I get a load soon
Really LOVE the gift your kids got you!! Did Rusty get any Christmas gifts? When at home in Wyoming does he like being outside more during the day? Wind shield wiper question. We replace ours once a year because we have 110* summer days and 0* winter nights which seems to degrade our $50 wipers even though 20 years ago wipers seemed to last longer.
Yes Rusty got Christmas gifts he got some home-baked biscuits he got some bacon strips and another little squishy chimp toy to play with. As far as wipers go I’m replacing them every 3 to 6 months that’s about all I get out of them but I do a lot of driving and you’re right sun can really rot them out
And yes when we’re home Rusty loves being outside because we’ve got a whole bunch of grass in our lawn plus the entire field area we live on we have 4 1/2 acres so he can run around and chase rabbits he loves it there
Mine broke one year after I bought brand new truck, I just changed, maybe I’ll buy one more just to keep it in truck I will need it in next 12 months, but 100$ for that switch is to much, getting ready now to replace floor mechanic cut it last time and now is wet underneath, there is no any isolation on floor, just floor rubber mats, I’m thinking to install sound deadening panels on floor.
Mines a 2015 coronado glider and it's one switch a year, 8 freaking switches already as of 2023. Terrible design on the part of the manufacturer, it's not a freightliner switch per say, it's made by NORDEN. I bought 4 switches recently from freightliner in Chicago, 23 bucks each. Gotta keep spares of that damn switch.
I don’t have to find my own loads of Turquoise Trucking does that for me. Occasionally I have looked up loads on Trucker Path or something else and if I find something that looks good and they haven’t found one for me yet they have no problem with me calling to try to get a good deal
I got rusty at a shelter in Denver about eight years ago and he went pretty much straight into the truck and has been with me ever since so about eight years
a 45 minute tear down and 45 minute replacement of the dash panel to replace a switch... you go boy. Remove cup holder, remove hvac/radio trim, unscrew air knobs, remove a bunch of screws, no thanks.

It’s a badly designed switch. I e replaced it three times in the 6 years I’ve owned this truck
Charged me 129$ for it
@@ClutchTrucker I think it’s a well designed switch to make a ton of profit
JUST SAW YOU ON THE ROAD!!! Have fun pal
Yep heading westbound on I 80 you must’ve been go in the other direction right
@@ClutchTrucker yeah we parted ways unfortunately. But it was nice meeting you!

Got a love those simple ones
Nice jacket clutch friend 👍
So cool didnt know it stood for that
Yeah like I said they sure are proud of it for $90 when it’s not made very well
Oh. I think U meant Cat scale! Ooops.
You can take the switch apart and adjust the contacts
I will save my old ones from now on. Thanks

I remember the old air wiper knobs would last forever.. what would fail is the tee to run air to both wipers
Improve one thing and kill another right?
You got that right save as much $$ as u can as a owner operator

You must have the same vermit I do that gets our trucks dirty. You would think with all the technology today things would last longer.
Yeah I replace my cabin air filter usually about every 30 days but dust just loves to stick on that Dash
Its 2023 now how many more have you went through just bought one on amazon for $18
Paid $99 forctge last one at a freightline. I’ll buy from Amazon from now on. Thanks

I would like to see a video of you finding loads

How long has Rusty been riding with you?
I got rusty at a shelter in Denver about eight years ago and he went pretty much straight into the truck and has been with me ever since so about eight years
I love that dog . Hes a cool customer. Your a good guy for giving Rusty a good life. Way to go
Maybe pay someone to clean that truck up!!
Yeah it’ll be me and some wipes and paper towels and all that I’ll be doing it so I’ll be paying myself
What do you mean by "it's not Santa anymore"? Santa's not real!?!
No no I must’ve been talking out of my ass of course Santa’s real. 😂
I hate how those wiper switches are designed
You and me both brother
You push on them a certain way they'll work.
Yeah, but it was getting rediculously unpredictable
I was doing it for few months that way but right now is not working doesn’t matter from which angle I push it, I just replaced it.
🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙
$$$$$$ that's the problem
Wow very cheesy made
Dude!
That’s not how you replace that switch!
You need to take the panel off.
I’m not pulling the whole panel for that one switch. This is the quick and dirty way
