That colorblocked striped Jenna is EVERYTHING! Love how practical but fun it is at the same time. Sounds like most of these really stretched tour skills!
Thank you for the details on how much you shortened your colourblock Jenna. I saw it on your IG and (wanting to make it that sort of length myself) I love that you talked through your process here.
Thanks for sharing your handmade clothes. Was very enjoyable to see how excited you are. No bigger rush than when a project is finished. Gave me a few ideas for some projects. 90% of my clothes are black but that is by choice.
Such great makes! I really love the Jenna shirt...I have aspirations to make a collared button front shirt someday and this is great inso! Love the kitty cameo 😻
Cassie, you're so inspiring! I'm also trying to take a 'slower' approach to my knitting and sewing, and to not be afraid to redo something as many times as it takes until I'm happier with the finished result.
@@MakingCassie I'm currently knitting the home camisole by Caidree and I have a couple of vanilla socks on the go! I've decided to try sewing harder things this year (but this means tackling zips, which is a scary thought!).
This was a delight to watch. I've been pondering sewing my firsr ever shirt and your video confirms it, I must give it a go! 😊 (I'm also sewing hard things this year 🎉).
@@MakingCassie Indeed! I have the Ilford Jacket pattern which was the easiest, entry-level, oversized shirt I could find (to replace my husband's shirts I like to wear over dresses and leggings) so I will be starting there. I'm not yet confident in button holes or any sort of collar - and so the adventure begins!
Love the goal of sewing things slow and with love.

Thank you! I’ve been loving testing my skills ☺️

Ooo love all these makes! Seeing your shop pant made me want to make em too. The back darts are perfect.
Highly recommend!

I was hesitant to make one for ages and I’m happy I finally did!

I love that! What are you working on?

@@lucyinthesky9479 oh I love the look of that camisole! Zips scare me too but we got this!
😂 I had to google what yarn chicken was.
I love that bottom up cardigan. So cute.
Hahah so many funny knitting terms!
these are lovely! also--- i feel you!!! there should be a meme that says "you are not immune to yarn chicken"
The cardigan is adorable! I wonder if you could reinforce the placket with twill tape or grosgrain ribbon or something.
Oh good idea

Yay for sewing hard things. What do you think you’ll make next?
