Anybody know where I can get any more episodes of these, I used to love this show, I only remember a handful of episodes though, there must have been loads I haven't see 😔
I believe it's true, as I have been in a time slip with my brother and two other people. For the longest time (before computers) i always wondered what happened. If it wasn't for my brother recalling the exact same thing, i would have thought I had imagined the whole thing. And no, we weren't on drugs or drinking. LOL
If they were real it makes you wonder. Usually 1 or more person enter a new place think it odd, try to return the next day and find it's dissapeared. What would happen though if 1 person remained and the other left? Would the one who left still be unable to find the location again?
One thing many of these cases have in common is that the person making the claim is visiting somewhere they've never been to before. It makes me wonder if they just got confused. Like the next day she went back to a different shop and thought it was the same one.
People just get a bit lost and confused I think. Nobody had ever gone home and found their house isn't there anymore. Also note how the weather is always the same in these stories, it never suddenly goes from summer to winter in any of these accounts which would be more expected in real time travel.
This story sounds suspiciously too similar to the 'time slip' that had supposedly happened to a lady called Charlotte Warburton in 1968 in Tunbridge Wells. She had come to Tunbridge Wells with her husband and they went their separate ways, she went into a Price-Rite Supermarket and as she entered she noticed a small cafe to her left and noticed people dressed in old fashioned clothes and wood panelled walls. She took her husband there on another occasion but couldn't find it. They asked and staff told her that the coffee shop didn't exist. After doing some research she found out that where she had seen the Cafe had been part of Constitutional Club and when she met with a Club Steward her description tallied exactly with his memory of the room. The story shown in this video of 'Mrs Featherstone' is obviously just a vague retelling of the story surrounding Charlotte Warburton. The presenter must be dishonest, she claims that 'Several years ago a building owned by Tunbridge Wells Constitutional Club stood right next to the shop where Mrs Featherstone had been in' - This cannot be true as the story is ripped off of an older account which had apparently occurred back in 1968 that first appeared in Man, Myth and Magic magazine in 1970. As far as I know no one has ever independently verified the claims of the anecdote or whether even Charlotte Warburton ever existed and it's entirely made up - If it is proven that the account is true then it truly is an inexplicable event.
