Bronny James headed to the Los Angeles Lakers

On June 27, 2024, Bronny James was selected by the Los Angeles Lakers with the 55th overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft out of the University of Southern California Trojans. Bronny James only played one year in college and started in only 6 games total but played in 25 games this past season. The selection pair led Bronny James with his father, LeBron James becoming the first-ever father-son duo to be in the NBA at the same time.
During ESPN's coverage of the 2024 NBA Draft, Bob Myers claimed that Bronny James Agent Rich Paul was threatening other NBA teams to not Draft Brony James or else he would go play overseas in the National Basketball League in Australia.
