Another great video. I don’t use my fob except to authorize pushing start or unlock on the door. The only time I use remote start is when I am in Minnesota for Christmas. I did have to replace my battery in a previous truck (2016 Chevy Silverado 1500). It was straightforward. Thanks again for your video. All the best.
I've also had the "swap the case" idea so I bought an OEM remote just for the shell but since I've only got one remote, I think I'll have it programmed & keep the original beat up one for a spare but my question is: have you thought about spraying a thin coat of clear enamel on the new housing/fob to help preserve it? Thanks
The key fob cover for my 2018 GMC Sierra is nearly impossible to open because the valet key is not inside the fob. I can can change the battery by removing the back but because there’s no valet key crevice, I’m unable to pry the fob open from the other end. Also, I’m unable to pry apart the 2 decorative silver medal parts on the sides. Help!!
Bro…. Please teach how to do something and stay on track. Im here to learn how to remove a cover not a story of run on filler. Thanks for eventually getting to the point.

How do you put battery in new one. You have to take the part battery connects to an put in there
Once you pop it apart the battery comes right out.
