- I'm sure you can tell by the title of this video that something is up, and you would be right. We are moving! After living in this home 18 years and accumulating lots of stuff (not to mention so many memories), it's no easy task. In fact, it's downright stressful. So while we're up to our eyeballs in packing, we've decided we're going to have to take a break from our weekly cooking videos. As much as we love them, we just don't have the time.
If you're new to this channel, we've been sharing a new recipe with you every single week since June of 2020. We've also shared occasional Bonus Videos of our travels and daily life, for those who enjoy connecting on a more personal level. I will share some blog-style videos of our move for those of you who are interested, but most of it will be done on Instagram, so make sure you're following there: / marcyinspired
Thanks for your patience. Lord willing, we'll be back soon. I've got some fun ideas about where I'd like to see this channel go once we get settled in at our new house. It's all in God's hands and He is always good.

Dear Sister Marcie!
I’m not going anywhere. I love your videos. Vera, my wife, and I left Southern California and moved to Southern Utah after I retired in 2019. UA-cam videos is how I have kept up with the world that I love. That includes my HVAC trade that I worked in for almost 30 years, cooking which is something that I truly enjoy, my indigenous heritage, and most of all God. Thank you for your channel. May God bless your journey on this new chapter of your and Tony’s life. Now. Back to packing. God bless.

I've been subbed for a few months but have binge watched a lot of your videos. Please don't worry about your content Marcy. I think all of us agree that anything you post is worth watching. Moving from a home after 18 yrs is very stressful and a huge task, I truly hope you can find what you are looking for in New Mexico. Take care, ❤.

Just found your channel this past week. Watched many of your videos; you and I are like twins in the kitchen. Wife and I love hatch chilies and have for many years. Always have a stash in the freezer and use them for everything from margaritas to cornflakes. We always chop them prior to freezing and will thaw a qt bag and refreeze in the small muffin pan. The small discs are then the perfect size to judge how much of the hottest chilies to use for each recipe. Buenos suerte.

We have been enjoying your channel for the last 6 months or so. We lived in Albuquerque for 40 years. So we get how much you love Hatch chili. Your recipes are delicious and you make them so easy to make. We have been empty nesters for quite a few years, so when I retired we decided to sell our home, buy a motorhome and travel the USA. One of the main things we both miss is the food in ABQ so your channel was a wonderful find for us!! I hope you have a smooth move down south. We have lots of your recipes to still try, but will look forward to your return. All the best!! 😊💕

I'm glad your coming back to NM. My first reaction was, "What? She's leaving that perfect back yard?" but since you're coming back to your roots, yay for you both. Going to visit your daughter will be that much easier.
As far as the algorithm, just post videos like this and it will be fine. I don't do Instagram so I hope you do keep posting here. Hope your move goes smoothly and you find the perfect acreage and house in the area you most want to locate to. I'm sure your AZ home will sell quickly and the folks who buy it will be so happy there.

Having been raised in New Mexico and now living in Texas……you saved me from Tex-Mex…..which just isn’t the same……I can now get the flavors from home that I took for granted till I didn’t have them on every corner….thank you and I’ll be waiting for your return
I’ll keep the subscription and I often have your videos going when I’m at the stove, so I’ll keep going through your catalog of recipes. New Mexico is one of my favorite places and is far enough from my home in Vermont to seem exotic. Go Lobos!

It can be overwhelming to move. It also presents so many opportunities though, especially getting rid of “stuff” that’s been accumulating. If somehow you get "stuck in the suburbs" please consider a new subdivision called Red Hawk Estates 2 just southeast of the Dona Ana Mountains and west of Sonoma Ranch Road in far north Las Cruces. Awesome views of the golf course, mountains and desert with new homes on Red Hawk Golf Course for less than $600K. At least one of your subscribers will be moving there by the end of the year....We will keep watching this channel for updates from you....May God be with you and Tony during this move...
