Great Video! Thanks for sharing. Sangean WR-11 works on many levels, i.e., optimally-tuned audio sound quality, design esthetics, warm wood cladding, and its indescribably satisfying old-school presence conjures up memories of a simpler time.
I had the digital version years ago. Preferred it to my Bose mini. It had tone control for the bass tho it really didn’t make much difference. It’s a fantastic radio for those who prefer a bassy sound signature.
Love this radio, I have the same with bluetooth. I am stunned by its audio quality everyday and the tuner is very good too, pulls in a lot of stations static free. Thanks a lot for your review!
Nice radio but not having front switchable aux is a deal breaker for me. Gotta be able to to go from radio function to aux input without pulling the radio off the shelf and fishing around in back for the input jack. For such a nicely made radio that’s a huge oversight!
I think you might be referring to the WR-11, which usually goes for $110 or so (although you can find it in some places for as little as about $70) www.amazon.com/Sangean-WR-11-Cabinet-Table-Analog/dp/B001BGGD8A www.bestbuy.com/site/reviews/sangean-wr11-analog-am-fm-tabletop-radio-walnut/4495382 I'm reviewing the WR-11SE, which usually goes for $70 or $80 www.walmart.com/ip/Sangean-WR11SE-40th-Anniversary-Edition-Hi-Fi-Tabletop-Radio/36754457 www.amazon.com/Sangean-WR-11SE-Table-Radio-Anniversary/dp/B00IGXENR4

Great review. I found the prison version of this radio at the thrift store for $5.00. Great sound quality. Enjoy.
Just ordered mine the other day can’t wait

Btw, you should never complain about an eBay user ‘overpacking’ anything, as most shippers don’t pack well enough
That's a great point!
Great review! Love the 4 Africa Radio!
Does ik work in Europe too, 220 volt, and prive of this radio? Great video 👍
I'm not sure; it doesn't come with a cable that will plug into one of those European ports but maybe it can work with an adapter?
I have the same radio and it sounds great, but it has a drift problem and always have to adjust the tuning. Does anyone else have that problem?
Is there a compatible AM external antenna for this model?
I don't know! I believe that the external antenna is used for both FM and AM, but I'm not 100% sure.
