how does masuda method interact with union circle eggs? if person 1 a has a french save+french ditto and person 2 has a english save+english non-ditto mon, will both players get boosted eggs or since their own mons match their language will no boost be applied?
@@Pearl7sp Simple answer yes they will get the boost! So long as the pair that breeds together are from different languages everyone who receives eggs from that pairing will have Masuda odds.

Never thought of that, i normally don't keep my "incubator" mon in my party when breeding because of keeping room in my team for eggs, but i keep forgetting that they just go straight to your box now weather or not you have room in your party. So i guess my switching them in and out is kind of a pointless step now. lol
They really did just go and make it convoluted for no reason, especially when they're presumably trying to phase out breeding. The only good thing it added was being able to breed you mon with friends if for whatever reason the two of you just didn't trade, or maybe if one friend has a better breeding set up and understanding.
I never considered using multiple games for breeding. So Masuda Ditto + Everstone lock + Group Egg Power would be the fastest way to generate eggs for a single pokemon shiny hunt. assuming you didn't care what game hatched the egg.
@@Placlutwo Yup, just remember you'll have to hatch all those eggs afterwards so if you get it quick that could be a little annoying to deal with. But otherwise yes you'll get 2-4x as many eggs for the shiny hunt from the same amount of time spent breeding.
