He beat Andre by count-out & it made the cover of Pro-Wrestling Illustrated, but it got Lawler in trouble with Vince McMahon Sr. because the headline read "The Night A Midget Beat the Giant".
Why doesn't he mention Randy Savage? Why doesn't he mention Curt Hennig, Rick Rude, The Road Warriors, Harley Race, The Funks, Bruiser Brody.... You could spend the better part of an hour mentioning the names of top stars Lawler has faught over the years, he doesn't have that kind of time here. And as for Savage being "black-listed", that's just something the wrestling 'smarks' dreamed up on the online rumor mill. Savage wasn't blacklisted by anyone.
