Thankyou so much mate! My uncle served in the 2nd Cavalry Regiment in B Squadron from 1997 till 2005 and was an ASLAV comander, now I can recreate his vehicle, thanks!
That is amazing mate 🤩 I'm chuffed you've found this useful. Your dad's service is greatly appreciated too 🙌
Looks rad, Ive always loved AUSCAM
Thanks buddy, it's a very cool pattern!
I actually learned some new things! Just ordered the new US starter set and I can’t wait to get working on all those AFVs!
Woohoo that's awesome 🤩 good luck mate 😁
Nice work. Love the paint job and weathering you did.
Thanks a lot mate and I really appreciate it coming from an Aussie ;)
Looks great! I will have to try this on my new Australian forces
Thanks a lot 🙌 be sure to show your work on my FB supports page 😀
Nicely done man!😮
Thank you buddy 😁
looking good mate
Thanks buddy 💪
Love it, I'm painting up my Aussie force right now in preparation to the new NATO book! I cannot wait to get some Abram's and LAV's! (Btw, you should get a team yankee force despite all that you have to paint). Gotta get out my BluTac!
Oh perfect timing then! Hopefully you'll grab some extras too 😉 I really should start a TY force but I have so many plans it'll just end up collecting dust 😔 perhaps in the future, when even more goodies have come out 🤣
Bout time mate ;) lol
Haha woohoo!
please, do more "how to paint" for the Team Yankee miniatures.
Will do buddy 👍
these look great. gonna try this method myself. Where did u get the stowage from?
Thanks mate 👍 they're from companies on ebay and old BF metal sets. Just type on 15mm stowage on ebay and you'll be set 😁 I also had a stowage video that might help 😊
That looks like the camo the us air force used in Vietnam.
Oh wow, very true! I'll have to paint up a phantom in the same colours 😀🙌
Will be adding ASLAVs & Abram’s to existing Team Yankee force and will be looking to replicate your Auscam scheme, love the weathering
Wooohoo! Hopefully you can addon these sprues 😉 thanks buddy 😊😊😉
Will you stop making such great models. My bank balance can't cope. Top work as always mate. Always happy when I see I new video from you.
Haha sorry? Not really 😆 thanks a lot mate, that really does mean a lot 🙏
Great result. You are keeping up you high standard.
And for those who didn't stay till the end: Next week Kristian will paint a pink unicorn. I swear!
Thanks so much Trekan 🙌 lol spoiler alert 😆
I've never really done a Australian camo
Can't wait to try it!
And i really like how the stowage turned out! It looks great!
Thank you so much mate, be sure to show me how you go with your Aussie vehicles 😉
great to see some modern aussie armor but you forgot a small red kangaroo in the side Other than that they look amazing
Haha thanks buddy, I guess it was time I represented Australia in my videos 🤣 I didn't receive any decals but I probably should've attempted to paint it 😅
Another great video, tutorial & recipe. I really hope more UA-camrs do what you're doing in your videos. It's one thing to mention the paint brand & color, but it's a tremendous help to also throw a graphic on the screen, like you're doing, with that info and ratio information too. I know it takes extra effort on the part of the content creators, but it substantially improves the overall quality of the video, in my opinion.
I think my favorite takeaway from this video, at least, for the moment is how you explained and showed how to tone down the colors in your camo pattern. I never would have thought of adding a flesh colored paint to the colors I'm trying to adjust. It looked great once you applied the mixed colors to the vehicles.
Don't worry about your aversion to the "modern" classification of miniatures...nobody is perfect. 😂 😊 It'll take some time but we'll get you there one day. I'm a patient man. 😅 No, seriously...I'm happy with anything you paint as long as you don't go back in time further than, preferably WW2, but I'll even take WW1 if it's something you fancy.
Looking forward to your next video. 😊
WOW thanks for the wonderful compliments and your detailed comment! I'm over the moon that you find my tutorials useful and you appreciate the little extra bits I add to make all of our painting needs that bit easier lol.
Adding flesh coloured paint is definitely a great way of making your base colours look a little worn as is Buff :)
Hahaha well I'll have to apologise in advance as I have just finished watching Zulu and I might have purchased a Rorkes Drift set ... my bread and butter is the WW2 scene so I'll try not to divert from it often ;)
Congratulations buddy, you've won the sprues :) can you please message me your details and I'll send them to you :)
Great work. Love the weathering - I’ll be trying that out
Cheers mate 🙌 be sure to show me how you go 😁
Spares are good to experiment on different schemes
Good point!! Let's hope you get them as spares ;)
Very nice! I give this 3 thumbs up out of 2.
Legend, thank you! ;)
Looking forward to more inspiring content!
Thank you sir 🙏
Oooo I love some modern tutorials! The AUSCAM looks perfect! Love the blue tac method, I didn’t think of using that for AUSCAM!
Thanks a lot mate 😊😊 I truly appreciate it! I reallybdoht like doing the blue tac method but it certainly does the trick.
@@paintingpanzers hahaha any reason you don’t like it? I’ve used it for German hard edge and found it alright!
Haha I just find that I always seem to make more mistakes with it. I think you're either really good at it or not so ;)

Love your work! I love the auscam look
Thanks a lot buddy 💪
