If you manage to get your hands on a bottle of their “Manifest” the guy who made it said it should be neat (no ice) and room temperature, but regular Jägermeister should be -18 degrees straight out the freezer! 👌🏼
You visited the backbone of the German economy (Mittelstand) beside this famous brand, Germany have more than 20.000 companies, who are in the top 5 of their respective markets. This companies create the major part of Germanys wealth and all of them pay close attention to every production step they have to go through. Because if you have to deal with the German standard of costs (labour, energy, and so on) you can't sell simpel and cheep, you must work every day to archive the highest quality for every singel product you deliver.
Yes, we had a great discussion about how jagermeister is still family owned and they keep their standard incredibly high in terms or environment, labour and quality standards, the new cool pack bottle is the first plastic bottle they have ever used and they are in the process of working out some kind of refund system as they family doesn’t like the idea of it not being reused or recycled properly, also all the glass bottles of jagermeister are made up of the highest amount of recycled glass possible, yet again to try keep quality at its highest but environmental impact low.. amazing company and people running it! 🙏🏼🔥
Yeah, but there is more to this. Jägermeister, that is one of the companies which are known. But there are also a number of so called "hidden champions" in Germany. Those are companies which operate in a niche and are only known within the industry, but are the best of the best in their field and sometimes even the only supplier. They are the backbone of Germany's economy. Remember, Germany barely has any natural ressources. So the best resource we have are our highly qualified workers and our patents (highest number of patents per capita in the world).
I think my rode mic may be on its last legs, as pulling audio out of it seems to be getting more and more difficult, New one may need to be ordered.. 😞😭
I had a big couple nights on it so drinking it brings back bad memories, but if you have history in the town than I would definitely recommend the tour if you make it out that way! 👌🏼
Yes, and was marketed as the shot all hunting parties have after a successful hunt, that is the reason it expanded to all of Germany , where back then alcoholic drinks and major drinks stayed relatively regional, it’s branding was a huge reason behind its early success ☺️
Hi friends, i have been buying the jaegermeister since more than 2 decades but sadly i regret to say that this product has declined in quality. It feels a lot watered down. I am really not sure they still add all the 56 ingredients as they claim. The authorities should do a check.
Jacob ... I do not really drink any alcohol except for beer ... IMPORT GERMAN BEER!!! However, when I do choose to go for some hard alcohol, it is ALWAYS Jägermeister!! I make it a point to keep a bottle in my freezer!! Oh, by the way, I picked up that habit when I lived in München!!! LOL!!
Jacob, thanks for these videos. Even I as a German can learn from them. I did not know that "Bärenjäger" honey liqueur was also originally produced by them [ 03:19 ].
Yes they have had some serious drinks come through the lineup, but I love the simplicity of sticking to the regular lineup aswell! But glad I could teach and be informative in the vlog ☺️☺️☺️😁🙏🏼
Ahhhh yes!! Meeting twice in one day 😅👌🏼👀 great for the real life meetup! Probably one of the first people in Germany to stop me in the open and mention my channel 😁 felt a little bit surreal 🙏🏼
Yes! They have a lot of things that have been bought out from them, but originally were Jägermeisters, so now it may be someone else’s product, but originally it was theirs 👌🏼☺️😅
Oh cool! Yeah, it’s a bottling plant, but they also do tours! Mariann is originally from there so if we go on a tour with her mum we will probably go to the kamenz one 👌🏼🤘🏼
My brain works in a weird way... it can remember so much information I’ll probably never need in my life, but ask me to remember and address or phone number... 🙅🏻♂️ nope! 😂
Produce the final product yes, but all of the base comes from this single factory and barrels. This is the only place in the world the original base is made, tested and produced.. I imagine they send the base to Graz to create/mix the final product for the Austrian resellers/retailers 😁👌🏼
@@PuntingForThePeople The only way to tour is on a motorbike, you need something with a bit of power for twp up,yet comfortable, Think about a pre vtec VFR800, you can get a nice one for not much money, lees then a grand.
I like those tradition companys..where they make all their stuff on one central point..not 1000 factorys across the globe messing stuff up. I think tabasco and the REAL siracha are also made just in the family business. Imagine such a copany burns down..1 year of Jäger and hotsauce crisis..
This stuff..., im kind of ambivalent with it. Fairly and honestly said, I can enjoy one or two. But since my father's best friend literally died of drinking way, way too much of it, much, much too much ofc. , ... lets say, this sad happening took away the fun from Jägermeister for me in the last years. In the end, like all alcoholic beverages, it can be a threat to your health and mental stability. Sad but true.
Ah that sucks and is a good reason to be stand offish to the brand and drink.. I think a small shade behind why I don’t enjoy beer “a lot” is it is a major reasoning behind my grandpas early death.. binge drinking it daily.. I think when you begin to listen to the “drink responsibly” warnings, any drink can be enjoyed, but it seems to be human nature to overdo and overindulge..
Had to stop watching. That 'background' musack was in the mid-ground and made listening to your commentary tiring. Your commentary would have been quite sufficient on its own.
I use to like starting a drinking binge with ten shots of Jager...👌🏼🥴🤘🏼💯✔
Jägermeister 🤩
I ordered one in London and they served it in room temperature.
This stuff has to be put in a freezer!
Blasphemy! 😂
If you manage to get your hands on a bottle of their “Manifest” the guy who made it said it should be neat (no ice) and room temperature, but regular Jägermeister should be -18 degrees straight out the freezer! 👌🏼
@@PuntingForThePeople I will.
😊
Next level: Auf den Song "10 kleine Jägermeister" 10 kleine Jägermeister trinken!
ENVY! Jaegermeister is my hands-down favourite drink and a pilgrimage there is on my bucket list.
If/when you make your way across be sure to book in! It’s free with a pre-booking and definitely worth it!!! 🙏🏼🙌🏼
