2gether did not do it on its own. Tharntype, Sotus, Dark Blue Kiss carried most people into the BL world. Truthfully, lots of people now are seeing that 2gether the series might be enjoyable but it is far from sensational or worthy of being dubbed "classic". Bright's acting wasn't bad, but it screamed that he didn't enjoy submerging himself into the role. This is an observational opinion so if you don't agree that is fair but to say 2gether attributed a lot to the amount of fans the Thai BL world has amassed is a bit of a stretch. The many other series should also be accredited
@ For me, I had never heard of BL and the social media chatter got to me. Also, the number of worldwide viewers was huge for that series and I feel it helped get the world’s attention. Yes, I then watched Dark Blue Kiss and loved it and I think both made GMMTV realize there was a $$$$ future in this genre.

Why tf are people are saying that bright can't act???!!! In F4 Thailand which was the first thai series i watched i was literally soo fckin impressed by his acting.. How he first acted so cold and rude as thyme and then when the character was actually supposed to show love towards gorya, his eyes actually showed that softness and affection and i was so impressed at how someone could literally made me swoon on them like this in such a less span of time.. He's still the best actor for me in all the thai series i've watched
Yeah same with 2gether. I can never feel the chemistry in BL dramas but with Bright you could feel it. He acts with his eyes and portrays all emotions beautifully. Hes an amazing actor
He is not the best but the amount of hate people throw on him is uncalled for. Half the haters are snowflakes jealous over his success and fame that their favs couldn't achieve. People follow him because he appeals to them, if you can't understand why, he's simply not for you. His acting sometimes is a hit, sometimes a miss. As for his singing, he certainly should seek a vocal coach if he intends to continue sing, but that's not to say he can't sing, his voice sounds really soothing in a slow/mellow songs and acoustic settings. He should either stick to that or work hard. PS: lets all pretend half the hate he's receiving now isn't simply because he's dating a woman. Lmao.
I do really liked together the series and of course I don't think i don't have any right to comment on their personal life. But it's a fact that i felt at some point they were just using the fandom even though it was way more clear that they were never gonna be a part of a bl show again. That's the only thing i find uncomfortable with.

Bright is focus on his music I don't think we will see him do much acting since his dream was always being a singer
A lot of people are saying that Bright is a bad actor and only popular for his looks and the BrightWin ship. I do think some of that comes into play BUT I don't think he has no chance to improve. He might have started his career by getting popular for his looks and the BrightWin ship but that does not mean he can't improve if he tries his hardest to do so. All he needs to get better at acting is he needs to keep acting constantly in different types of roles. If he does this and applies himself, I think he'll improve as an actor. I think he showed decent acting in Midnight Museum, his guest role actually surprised me because he did it pretty well!

But I'm also kind of biased on that particular one because I loved Hana Yori Dango so much. 2gether was his first BL role and the first time he'd met Win too. I didn't really think 2gether was that good but I did enjoy certain parts of it. The flashback scene you got where Sarawat was thinking back on how he first met Tine again was adorable and cute to me. But the series in general was just okay and nothing really special imo. I did really like the song though that Win sang at the end of Still 2gether but that was Still 2gether. The last episode of Still 2gether was better than all the episodes of 2gether combined LMAO. At least that's how I feel.

@@multikaleidoscopee I really liked the last episode (ep5) of Still 2gether a lot. I thought that one episode was better done than any of the 2gether episodes. And the song "Sarawat" was such a great song that Win sang. But when it comes to Bright, I think he has the potential to grow to become a better actor once he gets more experience. I do think he's better suited for lakorn (straight) but he does BL fairly well up to a certain point. Like kissing... imo he's bad at it. But the look in his eyes when he's interested in someone (like in 2gether) that wasn't too bad. It's just when he has to show more emotion that's when he seems awkward a little. Kind of like Plan (from Love By Chance), he's not that great at kissing at all. But his acting portraying his interest in the other person and being near/around the other person was pretty good. It's just when it comes more physical and emotional he's bad at it. I do like giving everyone a chance though. But if you haven't improved at all 5 years later (and you've had multiple roles since then), I don't think you're going to get better... On another note, that horribly awkward high 5 we got at the end of 2gether, a lot of people said it seemed really awkward and strange with no chemistry. I agree. BUT there was a reason for that. I learned that THAT scene was the very FIRST scene Bright and Win shot together. It was when they had first met eachother for the first time and didn't know who the other person was. Unfortunately, the scene was SUPPOSED to be after the characters had fallen in love but the ACTORS had just met for the first time and series film out of order soooo, that's why it was so awkward. It was because the actors didn't know eachother for that scene as it was the first scene shot.

I don't really understand all the hate he's been receiving. You make him walk on egg-shells. You even criticize his friends (now that was a shot in the lower region). Gulf never claimed to be a singer. I find it super weird that all these Thai BL actors have to give concerts since most of them are just actors and not singers. And Bright is a great musician. No hate for Bright, but he really is very bad at acting. When 2gether was released, I said that he seemed psychotic because of his look...that's why when he came out in Midnight Museum, I said that that character fit him like a glove. He and Win were lucky during the pandemic, but although I am not a fan of either, I have seen that Win is a little acceptable, especially when it comes to singing. It's not good but it's acceptable. Bright is just pretty face like (excuse me) Cha Eun Woo when it comes to acting. He should improve if he really does it for the love of the art and both stop using his Bromance ship as an aid.

I watched the whole video, and I found nothing to hate him over. I like his acting (I do admit he has room for improvement) and his singing. What he does in private or during his breaks or vacation time is none of my business. The tag on the plane was so small I don't know how anyone could tell what it said, even zoomed in it was a blurry mess. For the Hong Kong thing, Hong Kong has said many times they wish to be separate from China, and in my mind there's nothing wrong with liking a post that calls Hong Kong it's own nation as per Hong Kong's own wishes. Just because someone supports Hong Kong desire to be independent, doesn't mean that person is looking down on China. It's not something to be so butt hurt about.
I first knew of Bright from the 2gether series. And while I didn’t think Bright & Win were good actors, I didn’t think they were bad either & I really enjoyed the series. But I recently watched Love You To Debt & have to agree Bright actually cannot act. I was looking forward to watching the movie, even though I watched the Taiwan version before & didn’t like it, because I liked Bright but I ended up being so disappointed :( I felt Bright’s acting in the movie was cringe-worthy. I think they are justified cos I think he’s a very mediocre singer, even his acting is better than his singing, I feel. But is it terrible? Does he deserve all that hate for his mediocre singing? I think these Production Companies like GMMTV, are also to a huge share of the blame. In order to promote their series, they just push these actors into uncomfortable and downright horrifying skinships that are many times not needed all in the name of fan service. This kind of "fan service" and promotion sends the wrong message to these fans and since some people are absolutely psychotic, they just become toxic when it turns out these bl actors are straight. These companies must stop doing that. If not, the toxic environment/fandom would continue to expand. Compelling ads, wonderful storylines and great acting sell the series.

Fans thinking they own the actors, and actors allowing that to continue, and moreover performing to that, is the problem here.... Bright is an actor, you either like his acting or you don't, and depending on that, you will either watch his shows, or give it a miss...period.....I liked 2gether and thought Bright looked good in it, but his acting was nothing to write home about ...I mean do you even expect 'outstanding acting' for fluff shows that a lot of the BLs essentially are? His singing, on the other hand, has worsened since he left GMMTV, probably because he stopped practicing. GMMTV artists usually have constant classes for singing, dancing, and acting. Regarding political matters, as an adult, he should be aware of these things. Even I, with limited knowledge of the details, stay updated because it’s constantly on "X" and "UA-cam." He just needs to know certain words or brands to avoid. The BrightWin situation isn’t his fault; it’s just the fans being delusional.

2gether did not do it on its own. Tharntype, Sotus, Dark Blue Kiss carried most people into the BL world. Truthfully, lots of people now are seeing that 2gether the series might be enjoyable but it is far from sensational or worthy of being dubbed "classic". Bright's acting wasn't bad, but it screamed that he didn't enjoy submerging himself into the role. This is an observational opinion so if you don't agree that is fair but to say 2gether attributed a lot to the amount of fans the Thai BL world has amassed is a bit of a stretch. The many other series should also be accredited

In F4 Thailand which was the first thai series i watched i was literally soo fckin impressed by his acting.. How he first acted so cold and rude as thyme and then when the character was actually supposed to show love towards gorya, his eyes actually showed that softness and affection and i was so impressed at how someone could literally made me swoon on them like this in such a less span of time.. He's still the best actor for me in all the thai series i've watched

People follow him because he appeals to them, if you can't understand why, he's simply not for you. His acting sometimes is a hit, sometimes a miss. As for his singing, he certainly should seek a vocal coach if he intends to continue sing, but that's not to say he can't sing, his voice sounds really soothing in a slow/mellow songs and acoustic settings. He should either stick to that or work hard.

A lot of people are saying that Bright is a bad actor and only popular for his looks and the BrightWin ship. I do think some of that comes into play BUT I don't think he has no chance to improve. He might have started his career by getting popular for his looks and the BrightWin ship but that does not mean he can't improve if he tries his hardest to do so. All he needs to get better at acting is he needs to keep acting constantly in different types of roles. If he does this and applies himself, I think he'll improve as an actor. I think he showed decent acting in Midnight Museum, his guest role actually surprised me because he did it pretty well!

But I'm also kind of biased on that particular one because I loved Hana Yori Dango so much. 2gether was his first BL role and the first time he'd met Win too. The flashback scene you got where Sarawat was thinking back on how he first met Tine again was adorable and cute to me. But the series in general was just okay and nothing really special imo. I did really like the song though that Win sang at the end of Still 2gether but that was Still 2gether. The last episode of Still 2gether was better than all the episodes of 2gether combined LMAO. At least that's how I feel.

And the song "Sarawat" was such a great song that Win sang. But when it comes to Bright, I think he has the potential to grow to become a better actor once he gets more experience. I do think he's better suited for lakorn (straight) but he does BL fairly well up to a certain point. Like kissing... imo he's bad at it. But the look in his eyes when he's interested in someone (like in 2gether) that wasn't too bad. It's just when he has to show more emotion that's when he seems awkward a little. Kind of like Plan (from Love By Chance), he's not that great at kissing at all. But his acting portraying his interest in the other person and being near/around the other person was pretty good. It's just when it comes more physical and emotional he's bad at it. I do like giving everyone a chance though. But if you haven't improved at all 5 years later (and you've had multiple roles since then), I don't think you're going to get better... On another note, that horribly awkward high 5 we got at the end of 2gether, a lot of people said it seemed really awkward and strange with no chemistry. I agree. BUT there was a reason for that. I learned that THAT scene was the very FIRST scene Bright and Win shot together. It was when they had first met eachother for the first time and didn't know who the other person was. Unfortunately, the scene was SUPPOSED to be after the characters had fallen in love but the ACTORS had just met for the first time and series film out of order soooo, that's why it was so awkward. It was because the actors didn't know eachother for that scene as it was the first scene shot.

When 2gether was released, I said that he seemed psychotic because of his look...that's why when he came out in Midnight Museum, I said that that character fit him like a glove. I watched the whole video, and I found nothing to hate him over. I like his acting (I do admit he has room for improvement) and his singing. What he does in private or during his breaks or vacation time is none of my business. The tag on the plane was so small I don't know how anyone could tell what it said, even zoomed in it was a blurry mess.
For the Hong Kong thing, Hong Kong has said many times they wish to be separate from China, and in my mind there's nothing wrong with liking a post that calls Hong Kong it's own nation as per Hong Kong's own wishes. I first knew of Bright from the 2gether series. And while I didn’t think Bright & Win were good actors, I didn’t think they were bad either & I really enjoyed the series. But I recently watched Love You To Debt & have to agree Bright actually cannot act. The criticism for his singing and acting is pretty valid though.
I think these Production Companies like GMMTV, are also to a huge share of the blame.
In order to promote their series, they just push these actors into uncomfortable and downright horrifying skinships that are many times not needed all in the name of fan service.
This kind of "fan service" and promotion sends the wrong message to these fans and since some people are absolutely psychotic, they just become toxic when it turns out these bl actors are straight.
These companies must stop doing that. If not, the toxic environment/fandom would continue to expand.

I don't have a problem with actors going around and promoting their movies and series but they should take a cue from YDDS, One D and even Hollywood. Once the cameras are off, acting should also go out the window. Fans would always be depraved but it doesn't mean actors should just feed their depravity and so it's back to these companies again

Bright is an actor, you either like his acting or you don't, and depending on that, you will either watch his shows, or give it a miss...period.....I liked 2gether and thought Bright looked good in it, but his acting was nothing to write home about ...I mean do you even expect 'outstanding acting' for fluff shows that a lot of the BLs essentially are?
