Was on the river Shannon yesterday fishing I think the new boats need strimmers the whole river is full of water weed . Might need a Monty Don class 😂😂😂😂
@@martryan2060 At least you got something to eat! Can be frisky wee beggars. I grew up sea fishing on the Antrim and Down coast but went I a few times with my friend and his Dad up and around Leitrim. A long time ago now! Ian
Just want to say thanks for listing all the paints you used on the B24 very helpful the guy that does the paint mask is very good l usually buy them before l get the kit always handy to have also look forward to the Airfix Chinook when you get round to doing 👍
Morning Gary. I'm in for the... raffle...... 'competition!' .... 😉 As always , the best way to start the week. Another fantastic week coming up on Gary's Stuff, never a dull moment! Thanks Gary for your hard work, you enrich my life 🙏 Take care mate. Bobby
Oh dear, oh dear! So many lovely kits coming out at the same time- Airfix Liberator, Bulldog, Chinook, Kotare Spitfire V etc. Never mind the expense my snail like build regime can’t keep up with it all. I know we are living in a golden age of modelling but it’s all getting too much for me! All the same I’m loving the Liberator build, Gary, and I’m looking forward to the Chinook.
Enjoy the RNLI visit, Gary - I used to live in Poole, the RNLI presence there is fascinating, a lot going on. I'd be interested to see whatever content you choose to upload from your visit, over and above the Shannon kit. I'm also excited that your visit probably means my preorder is due soon 😁
Also, that pipework at 8:45 ... I wonder if it's intentional that the sprue/frame looks about the same diameter as the pipes, might be handy if the frame can be used to extend the pipework 🤔
@@jamfjord I'm told the Shannon Class and the extra decal pack will both be available next week. We got to see the ,manufacturing process of the boat but sadly the simulator was broken when we saw it!!
Nice to see the Reaper Bones Kraken make it into the lineup. Maybe some clever modder can use that to create a fantastical diorama with one of the new Airfix lifeboats.
Hi Gary, That’s a packed Monday Matters! Good idea on the raffle. Ill buy a ticket or two 😁👍🏼 The Dogfight Doubles will come out perfect with your skill. I can’t wait for the Chinook, it’s or the only Airfix that I’ll definitely buy this year. May I be so bold to say that today you are looking and sounding like the old Gary again😌 We know how much you have had to deal with these past few months (and yet your maintained your output!!) so I hope you are beginning to have some peace. I am surprised that Airfix are releasing an HC Mk1 Chinook when the current fleet are to HC Mk 5-6 standard. The box art shows ZA718 prior to having its EAPS (Engine Air Particle Separator) rails fitted which was done back in the 1990's for the Gulf war. It would be great to have a variant with the EAPS and the Minigun.
Be interesting to see how you get on with decals in the eduard dual combo. Have heard & seen that the getting the "backing" off the decal can be a bit of a git to remove.
Many thanks Christian - I will be in Germany next summer but sadly a long way from Brandenburg - going down the Rhein from Köln then the Main and finally the Donau to Vienna and Budapest! But I am so looking forward to the wines and the beer! Big fan of German wine (especially Dornfelder, which I think is under-rated here) and the purity of the beer thanks to the Rheinheitsgebot is exceptional!
Models for Heroes as made a massive difference to my life and I will be taking part
cheers gary another great monday matters

You are a very busy man - thankyou, Gary, for putting in the effort! Your channel shines ☀️
Another great Monday Matters 🙌
I've got the Airfix Lifeboat on order from our local RNLI.
Keep up the great work Gary 👍
Great Monday! I've watched pt. I of the B-24 build and it's looking grand. Hopefully watch pt. II today. Have a wonderful week.

I'm going to try to get some footage from the simulator they have to train coxswains on the Severn Class and some things about how a lifeboat is made!
@@garys_stuff Brilliant! That would be great to see if the opportunity arises, cheers Gary 👍

I wouldn't be at all surprised if this were to happen later. Bear in mind there is no frame 'A' in the kit at the moment...

Yes, I've heard mixed stories about the decals. Hoping that I can find a way to do them as I've a few Eduard kits here I want to make..
@@garys_stuff got a few of their spitfires in the stash & don't want to start them until i see a good way to around that issue

Spitfire Mk5A Gary😄... I know it is a Monday, need more coffee😁
Looks like there's some decent kits out there Gary! I may well invest in the Chinook kit from Airfix
Nah. It'll be a lovely kit, no doubt but it needs to be in 1/48. If they can do a Sea King, they can do a Chinook.
Just mo.
Gary - you make two Chinooks - what happened to the two Rotodynes?
The first one is very nearly complete - he other has yet to take off...
