the only thing i envy is that you have the luxury of a hard top and full metal doors. i love my YJ, but its only got the half metal doors and a rag top.
Great build man and those prices are unheard of down here in Florida! People want $3,000 for a Jeep with no engine in south Florida! I wouldn't get a Jeep newer than a 95 personally. YJ's are the best! I'm about to get a 91 straight 6 this weekend hopefully!
thanks for checking it out dude, yea I just put a 2" body lift on it, so I'm sitting on 6" now.. I was thinking about getting a spring over axle kit which would add another 5.5" with a total of 11.5 but thats just an idea... good luck with yours!
Sick shit I bought my 95 wrangler for 800 off a woman who was gonna trade it in but they only offered her 500. And that was probably 6yrs ago and only had to put a battery in it, and it had I think 70k and now it has over 200k and still runs like a charm! Best $800 investment I've ever made!:P
Thanks dude, have a 4" rough country lift, 34" super swampers and cragar wheels I think they're 15x10, just ordered a 2" body lift to get some more clearance for the 34's. I love my yj.
Thanks dude, Yea I like the lift came with heavy duty leaf springs. Acceleration isn't too bad it's definitely no race car. Yea I'd go with that kit any extra power is always nice.
thanks for watching bro, yea man I can't complain about the 2.5 it gets me where I need to go.. but it is always nice to have that extra power.. yea def keep me posted and good luck with it dude
thanks a lot, I got the shackle lift at autozone it added about 2 inches, no problems with the 31's and for the paint I used black enamel out of the can and just brushed it on thanks for watching
aweome yj man. i gotta 1995 and i got a 3" body lift that came on it. bout to get rid of body lift and get me a 4" suspension and 2" shackles. mine sits on 33" comfortably but thats it. i gonna get 35s on it. man yours looks awesome tho.
@The95WranglerYJ the bigger tires and lift you put on it the slower its gunna go is usually how that works especially with the 4 banger but guess you could go as big as you wanted
the power is decent, its not the fastest thing on the road but when you get back in the woods in 4low its tough to stop with a nice set of tires, thanks for watching
@The95WranglerYJ You are maxed out right now. Do not add any more lift or increase your tire diameter with that engine. And don't waster your money trying to add power to that engine to get bigger tires, it's not going to work. Recommend losing the 3" body lift for 3-4" suspension. I put 35s and 5" lift on the same jeep, had to spend another $800 on 4.88 gears just to reach 60 mph.
@Dachevymane Didn't say it was unreliable, driving to and from work and school with 34" tires just wasn't ideal. If I had the money I would have kept the jeep and bought a little commuter beater car. Thanks for watching.
33s on a 3 in lift is about the biggest u can go and its a jeep bro they arent race cars i got a 90 4 cylinder and it takes a lil while for it to get up to speed on freeway but offroad it handles like a charm :D
Nice Jeep! I have a 1990 wrangler as well, heres a vid of it in the snow!! haha I have a 4" rough country lift on it. 1990 Jeep Wrangler Off-Roading in the Snow
@mcgrath56 nice jeep at least you sold it to a family member so if you stop by your uncles house you can just ask him hey can i take the ole jeep for a spin?
hay man, what kind of paint did you use on your hard top. I would like to paint mine black to, but I don't know wich kind of paint a should use to make a good job. your's look nice
$800 for gears? youre high for paying that much, i just did 4.56s front and rear on my xj for a little over $350. thats including the master install kit. as for that 2.5l "iron mike" its stong enough for rockcrawling if you also regear your transfer case with axles.
the only thing i envy is that you have the luxury of a hard top and full metal doors. i love my YJ, but its only got the half metal doors and a rag top.

Looks like a good start. Should do a spring over!
i have a 95 YJ 6cylinder 4L with 2'' body lift and 35'' all terrains. Simply the best i think.
thanks for checking it out dude, yea I just put a 2" body lift on it, so I'm sitting on 6" now.. I was thinking about getting a spring over axle kit which would add another 5.5" with a total of 11.5 but thats just an idea... good luck with yours!

thanks man, the 34's rubbed a little with the 4" lift but then I got the 2" body lift and they fit perfect
thanks for watching, its 80 degrees in ny right now, yea i love the black cragar wheels they look great... good luck with your YJ !
sounds sick, thanks for checking it out.
Thanks dude, Yea I like the lift came with heavy duty leaf springs. Acceleration isn't too bad it's definitely no race car. Yea I'd go with that kit any extra power is always nice.
thanks man, yea I took the rear flares off already gotta get some flat fender flares for the front or just make my own
very badass, i wish i could've gotten as lucky as you with my 90... lol
thanks dude, yea I painted the whole thing with a brush came out pretty good
thanks for watching bro, yea man I can't complain about the 2.5 it gets me where I need to go.. but it is always nice to have that extra power.. yea def keep me posted and good luck with it dude
thanks a lot, I got the shackle lift at autozone it added about 2 inches, no problems with the 31's and for the paint I used black enamel out of the can and just brushed it on thanks for watching
yea stock gearing, kind of a slug on the road but once you drop it into 4 wheel low you got all the power you need
thanks dude
yea thats a good spot to mount it I was gunna put it in the back but i figured I'd put it in the front in case I had to get pulled out
Got a 95 jeep yj I love it! Got some gnarly tires for it last month can't wait to go Boonie bashing!!
they did when it was flexed but after i got the 2" body lift it was perfect
@mthsmouse thanks dude, I sold the jeep to my uncle and it still has the rc lift I loved it and now he does, I was happy with it.
ah sweet i might hafta do it with mine it looks good.
aweome yj man. i gotta 1995 and i got a 3" body lift that came on it. bout to get rid of body lift and get me a 4" suspension and 2" shackles. mine sits on 33" comfortably but thats it. i gonna get 35s on it. man yours looks awesome tho.

It's not bad on gas, it would have enough power for the 33's but if you have the xtra money to play with go with the 6 cylinder. Good luck dude
nice, this was when i just had the 4" rc suspension lift got the 2" body lift on after
i have an 88 yj and im planing on doing the same to mine except a 2in. body lift also
@thumpersavage5cs Thanks for watching man, you too!
the power is decent, its not the fastest thing on the road but when you get back in the woods in 4low its tough to stop with a nice set of tires, thanks for watching
thanks, let me know how it comes out
mine looked the exact same as yours stock but is now on 38.5" boggers
@ateateate123123 it doesn't sound like a bad deal it could be and good start, just make build it into what you want. Good luck!
@lonnielee069 Thanks for watching dude. You got an awesome deal definitely a good investment!

prob. not the 34's were tight with my 4" rough country lift but then i added the 2" body lift and it was fine
@The95WranglerYJ

people wiht jeeps have a attitude jeeps can do any thing ther the same as any other vehicle no different
@mcgrath56 change the gears and go as big as ya want
No, buddies got a 94 with the 4banger with a 4in lift on 33's and he struggles to get above 55 on the highway
@Dachevymane Didn't say it was unreliable, driving to and from work and school with 34" tires just wasn't ideal. If I had the money I would have kept the jeep and bought a little commuter beater car. Thanks for watching.

1990 Jeep Wrangler Off-Roading in the Snow
im getting my Yj 95 2'' body lift and 35'' tires. Clutch/trasmition/tires brand new. Only for 4500$ (canadian). damn i just jeez again xD
i would put a v8 or v6 i prefer a v8 it can be a chevy engine here in costa rica l4 (4 cilinders dont work
yeah i will :D
yea and?
did he keep the stock gears in. Going with bigger tires and keeping the stock gears takes away a lot of power
I usually find my YJ like this 1:24
@mcgrath56 nice jeep at least you sold it to a family member so if you stop by your uncles house you can just ask him hey can i take the ole jeep for a spin?
I have a stock 00. But its gonne be 2" lift with some 31 and MT classics pretty soon ;)
@mcgrath56 on that 4 inch lift would you need a slip yoke eliminator and a transfer drop kit for it? im getting a yj soon and wanted to lift it
hay man, what kind of paint did you use on your hard top. I would like to paint mine black to, but I don't know wich kind of paint a should use to make a good job. your's look nice
what shackle lift did you have and how bad was it driving on the road?
can someone help me find a jeep for a good price??
$800 for gears? youre high for paying that much, i just did 4.56s front and rear on my xj for a little over $350. thats including the master install kit.
as for that 2.5l "iron mike" its stong enough for rockcrawling if you also regear your transfer case with axles.
what gears do you use with those 34s and the 4 banger?
How Long did it take you to finish everything, and how much did everything cost. I am interested cause i have a 91 yj and want to do the same things.
what state do you live in where you can buy a jeep for 900
Yo. what did you use to paint the hard top mang.
