    I've owned a thule chariot cross and from experience, when using the rain shield on a warm rainy day, the cab gets extremely warm. Not having the ability to open the side windows is a big deal.
    We were out with the kids, it was a warm day and it began to sun shower. So we put the rain shield on and within 10-15min my baby was crying so we opened to see why and he was dropping sweat. He was wearing shorts and a t shirt. There was zero ventilation when using the rain shield.
    So buyer beware. Thule did come out with the thule chariot sport which has disc hand break included as well as the ability to open the side windows. For a couple hundred dollars more, if you're investing in a thule might as well spend the extra and get the safer model.

    I am sorry but this was no real comparison/review between the 2 strollers.
    it's just a rushed presentation with the purpose to get the sales up.
    Please make a real review.

    I was waiting all the time to hear what is the difference between the Lite and Cross version. Did I miss it or you actually did not explain that?

    I’m actually very interested in the new sport version I keep reading about in a Thule group on Facebook. But it’s not on their website for the US. Do you know if it will be available here soon? It has a hand brake and side ventilation windows.

    Is the first zippered layer a mesh mosquito net, followed by a sunshade, and lastly the clear rain cover? Does the seat sit fully upright in the Cross, and how far does it recline?

    What’s the difference to the 2020 model?

    Hi,
    If possible could you please do a review between the Chariot Cross and Chariot Sport. I'm finding there is very limited review
    info available and would love to see an in depth review. Thanks!

      Hi Michaela! Sadly we do not have a floor model of the Sport. However the sport is going to give you the most features (all the bells and whistles). The extra features are the hand brake, lock kit and exposed mesh windows.

    Thanks for making this video! I wouldn’t limit this stroller to be just for “active” or “sporty” families. I will say that in Berlin (Germany) the Thule bike trailers are commonly used as a city stroller especially for families with two young children.
    A few other features not mentioned is that you can buy a baby sling so it is possible to use for babies as young as one month old (only as a stroller, of course). Also, the seats recline so it is possible for older children to nap if you are out for the day. My toddler stopped letting me put a rain cover over his stroller around 18 months so one that is integrated and can’t be removed is an exciting feature for me. I was also thinking that during Covid times or even flu season, the trailer is handy for public transportation as they offer a bit more protection for little ones too young for a mask. Additionally, I like the sun protection (or “dream drape”) for long summer bike rides. And finally, the trailer gives your children a bit of privacy so random strangers are less likely to engage your children which is something to consider raising children in a city.
    We are planning to buy this as a second stroller in addition to our Yoyo Babyzen (which we love and have used as our primary stroller for three years) since we are expecting our second child this summer. As a mom who likes to be out and about in the city, this trailer will make it manageable to be out with a toddler and baby. Thanks again!!
    Quick question: Do you know how the Thule Cross 2 compares to other popular twin strollers (Bugaboo Donkey, for example) in terms of width and maneuverability?

      I think this is a great idea for your family. All of the reasons you supplied are great and some even surprising (the protection from aerosols and prying eyes is very clever!). I think if you're comparing it to something like the Donkey I would focus on the features that matter to you. So if the ones listed are more important than the things the Donkey offers (reversible seats, single to double, folds much smaller) than I would go with your gut! If you want a bit more detail you can always reach out to mbeans.com/consultations and we'd be happy to break down all the differences for you!

    Is the Thule chariot single as narrow as the Thule urban glide 2? Could I take the chariot single into a store easily?

    • @MagicBeansVideos
      @MagicBeansVideos  3 роки тому

      The chariot is 4 inches wider than the Urban Glide. It may have trouble with small stores, but should be fine for grocery and department stores.

      The Thule Chariot Cross seats recline but the Lite seat does not.

    Hi Mr Beans. Can u plz let me know if nuna rava can fit my Hyundai elantra. Plz & thanks

      @MagicBeansVideos  3 роки тому

      For newer Hyundai Elantra you should be good! If its on the older side I cannot guarantee it, but the Nuna has tons of good reviews for fitting in small cars, so you shouldn't have an issue.

    I’m actually interested in a comparison of a bike trailer w/ jogging kit (like the Chariot) vs. a running stroller (like the Urban Glide 2).
    We already own a Uppababy Cruz for our 7mon old, so getting a second stroller feels kinda redundant. Focus for me is the running experience, but having a bike trailer would be a nice to have.
    Was impressed by the build quality of the Urban Glide 2 and have not checked out the Chariot yet. But I can imagine that the weight distribution (kid sits lower) of a bike trailor may be superior and make for an even better experience.

      Hi Maximilian! They both have their pros and cons. Have you had a chance to check them out in person? We offer zoom consultations where we show you them live : www.mbeans.com/pages/consultations
