- Pete Brown is perhaps best known for being lyricist on the classic songs co-written with Jack Bruce for both Cream and Jack's solo albums. In addition Pete is a respected performer in his own right, having performed with the band's Battered Ornaments and Piblokto! in the 70s and fronting his own band, The Interocetors.
"Deserted Cities of the Heart". If you haven't heard it, go and listen to it RIGHT NOW! Pete Brown is a genius.

Great to see Pete Brown again! I'm constantly looking for Pete's classic lyrics available online! Pete definitely deserves better recognition. His music is great, but largely (and regrettably) undiscovered to a wider audience. And his autobiography - it's a fantastic piece of work! And, of course, his longstanding collaboration with the late Jack Bruce is a milestone in rock music! So thanks very much for sharing this interview! I'm loooking forward to see more stuff from Pete! Excellent interview with a great poet, lyricist and musician. Pete's lyrics with Jack Bruce are the most imaginative and evocative of all.
Esoteric should reissue the Piblokto! and Battered Ornaments albums on vinyl.
Please do people have them on CD but vinyl would be perfect
