I live in Waukegan for a while (2 blocks west of Saint Therese Hospital on Washington Street. Later I moved to Zion and still live there. For years passed that "highway to nowhere" and saw a few films being made. I remember CBS made a remake of The Fugitive and the escape scene was filmed on that highway. I think Ordinary People has a scene from there too.
At 2:22 just under the the middle of the two helicopters in the brush, you can see a few flashes of light. Just me on my Enduro. I found the back way in lol
Pretty cool, I was an extra in Contagion. Although I was already living in Waukegan at that time, my part was filmed in Chicago by the House of Blues location.
Fred Derf Honestly would rather live in Waukegan where people are real with each other as opposed to the neighboring upper class white towns that put on an act to hide their racism.
I lived in wauktown since i was 2... im thirty know and still didnt know that about my town... well i knew about batman. We used to eat at bob and anns, drink coffee and watch them film batman lol
