😎😎😎 As for reasons players may leave into the transfer portal, if you have a southern or western (Arizona, California, Nevada...) player who went up to a Big 10 school like Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan... and lived through January and February, with the temperatures dropping below Zero, blizzard conditions, ice storms, etc., they may be itching by the 2nd portal window to get the hell out of the Great North and back to someplace like Florida where the weather is far less brutal. And unless you've lived through that kind of weather, you can't really realize just how much of an incentive that can be.
I think Bailey is a bad take. don’t think theres any evidence he’s good enough to win against any team on the back 75% of our schedulep. And I think we can lose with kids that will contribute in a year or 2 just as well as a kid that’ll be selling insurance in a year or 2. Maybe/hopefully it’s just another cheap body in the room to push the freshman. Not sure what caraways tackling success is. His success will be at least somewhat determined by his ability to tackle consistently.
