They didn't know until that meeting last week. Ama said she was working on this since about the time Geega debuted in Vshojo, Mostly contract negotiations, which will be very favorable to her, given how long she worked on this. I'm thinking Vei, Nyan and Silver didn't want to bother working on the contract which is to be expected for people that don't routinely have to do contract negotiations. Ama, as a VA, negotiaties contracts all the time for each acting gig.
I assume she will be able to educate the girls a bit about negotiating
