It's prolly the toxic toga was talking about... It probably can make hallucinations in one of it's effects making the plot twist real good... In our case this is about how the people's perspective on what happened so we can think of different things... I dunno- If my theory is somewhat accurate the creator is for sure real good!!

My guess is that Deku was trying to burn down the scool bc he wanted to free the ghosts but ended up mixing the wrong posions and toxicating the whole school without noticing bc of the efects of the posion and then making the right posion to burn the place again but right as he was making the posion bakugo entered and saw everything bakugo. But as bakugo was about 2 stop him the fire posion fell on the ground making a pillar fall right on top of deku and bakugo as the hero in training he is saved him and got him and everybody else out but something flew in his way bc of the boy ghost (forgot his name😅😅) and bakugo blacked out. I Guess this is why The boy was bye his side when he was at the hospital or nurse i don't know where bakugo was. Why deku wanted to apologise why The girls where so relieves they got out in time cause someone else could've gotten hurt And all of that
