I agree with you!! Money actually grow on trees but only on trees that was planted by you!! These tress are referred to as investments. How you diversify your investment portfolio matters.
Diversification is the key. My portfolio is well diversified with the help of a financial adviser. This helps me make more than +400% monthly on my investments
I'm intrigued by this. I've searched for financial advisers online but it's kind of hard to get in touch with one. Okay if I ask you for a recommendation???.
I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I've stuck with ‘’Julianne Iwersen Niemann” for about five years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look her up...

Hi Fran and John, I do not know about others but this video is probably the best one you have done so far. Downright honest and grounded in reality. Most haters who question “others” FIRE numbers be it income or net worth are probably feeling the “burn” within. In other words they have no idea about FIRE and they self justify why they have to keep on working to fund their extravagant lifestyle. Keep up the fantastic work!😊
Great video with so much nuggets of wisdom and truth. Similar to Mathew, my FIRE journey was in stages. My wife was able to stop working 13 years ago so that she could spend quality time with our son and as we try for our 2nd kid. I continued as the sole income earner until FIRE was achieved last year at the age of 53. Not as “early” but still so liberating. Completely agree that the required FI amount and time to achieve it are tied to our respective desired lifestyle and saving/spending habits. The financial goal is a resultant of our life goals.
@@Raycin2000 congratulations!!! We love hearing about FIRE stories and yours is amazing! By the way, 53 is young! Better than retiring at 65 or 70! You have bought yourself more than 10 years of freedom. We're so happy for both of you
FIRE! I have not watched the video yet but just ignore the comments. haha. To me the most important part of FIRE is the FI REMOVES THE PYSCHOLOGICAL STRESS!
I feel that FIRE is not just about the numbers alone. It is a whole mindset of planning for and finally enjoying the state of retirement. Some could have no issues with reaching their numbers and be FIREd. However, will they be truly living meaningful and happy FIREd life? If one is not prepared mentally and emotionally for FIREd living, just achieving the numbers alone for oneself is still meaningless. One could still be FIREd and yet unhappy and lost, without any meaning in FIREd life. Thus, I think we should have a holistic approach to FIRE. It is not just a numbers game alone. It is a whole state of preparing oneself in terms of readiness for meaningful and happy FIRE living. Because, the whole purpose of FIRE is to achieve a happy and meaningful retired life. If not, FIRE does no good at all in just reaching the numbers without truly enjoying the whole meaning of a retired life.
you mentioned about 4% rules for retirement number. what if my investment doesnt do well in particular year (in the future) to maintain my lifestyle? will the 4% rules still apply or is there plan B?
@@cloverlance7477 Plan B is to dip into your savings for that year while you wait for your investments to recover. Don't forget, you still have your 25X capital. All you've been spending is from your dividends, interests, capital appreciation from the 25X sum. You are right to be worried. Hence we always advocate that you also hone skillsets that is able to generate passive or side income so that when your investments aren't performing, you need not worry We are also multi asset investors, hence if 1 investment isn't performing, we also have other assets in other classes.
