I just got mine delivered Friday night, but i was so tired that night i had to wait until Saturday morning to get my grind started. It is a great production music workstation. I'm already thinking about getting the MPC studio as well because the Renaissance is too big for me to be moving around.
good evening my name and wagner verly and I'm from Brazil, Rio de Janeiro takes me one doubts the akai mpc renaissance, I used the akai I need a computer connected to it or I can use it alone without the computer, an example models akai mpc 1000 and 2500, needs no computer she plays with hd or memory card, I can do the same with the renaissance akai? thank you
Hi, Rico. The MPC Renaissance is no longer in production or supported by the manufacturer, so there may be compatibility issues with certain DAWs or operating systems. Most MPCs that are currently in production are universally compatible, so feel free to reach out if we can help you out with one of those or anything else. Thanks! +MultiTechnoDog Ok, how come? And what shoudl we expect? Ive seen the MPC touch image on gearslutz but that looks like a controller rather than a standalone MPC to me.
There was NO ENERGY in this intro. I actually feel depressed about the MPC line. There's no way with will distract me from Ableton Push or Maschine. Plus its 32BIT...I use huge libraries from Kontakt, EastWest, and Spectrasonics... Boo
Computers suck for music production. I don't care who says what. I bet you have to install a driver on your PC or Mac. BS.. give me something I can use right out of the box.
