- In this video I will be reviewing the New McFarlane Toys Super Powers Superman figure. I will be mainly focusing on the comparison of the McFarlane cape to The Cape Master cape. After watching Geek Dad Life's short video of your custom capes while at my local Walmart, I was sold. I bought Superman and will later get Batman and maybe Darkseid. Your capes look so much better than McFarlanes by a long shot. I'll be buying from you soon
Just placed an order for these capes today. McToys hasn't mastered soft goods capes but thankfully we have the Cape Master to come to our heroes' rescue!

I gotta say your capes look 100x better than the stock capes. I’ll be hitting you up on Instagram in a couple weeks. I just want to point out that this line is a great value compared to other retro lines, so I can forgive the sub par cape materials but a piece of tape probably would have been a better idea to hold the capes in place. I am glad you are offering alternatives as they greatly enhance the figures.

Great work. I got my 1984 Batman cape made by the Cape Master almost two months ago. It is great. So I had a friend customize a 1984 Superman to look like Bizarro so I ordered a Bizarro cape too. It should be arriving soon. His capes are wonderful and fit perfectly. Keep up the good work.👍👍👍

I'm enjoying your videos. I hope that You will get into doing custom ringtones for 3 3/4 gijoes style figures. I ordered some from China & was disappointed in how tight the robes were made, and they didn't fit. Maybe You can be the Robe Master too, Hombre. Blessings!🙏

These are very nice thanks for the video my only gripe on them is that McFarlane is the creator I do not like his business greed what I mean by that is Hasbro when they had their action figure line of the Justice League figures they were 6 inches give or take McFarlane likes to make his figures either larger or smaller so let's collectors have to collect all of them all over again he's done this before and he also has or had low quality in his toy making which means if you give it to a kid it'll be broken within an hour he was worse than the toy biz company so I kinda wish it was Kenner or Hasbro doing this line even though they became greedy also but still their quality is a lot better however they look nice just like McFarlane figures look nice but I won't collect them because it's another business game with him
This maybe already covered but can you make the logo on Superman's cape about the same size as the McFarlane cape or maybe little bit smaller? Also make the cape a little bit longer as well?

I basically love the new Super Powers line! Instead of the vintage "play feature" from the old line. It would have been nice to add a few more points of articulation. Still love these and can't wait to get these!

If/when they ever show up in Springfield Walmart stores, you know I’ll be ordering your capes. Those holes are ridiculous, as is that oversized S on the McFarlane release. What are they thinking??

Great item!!! However, I think the \S/ should be a bit bigger. Almost the same size as the \S/ on his chest. Just saying. I know it's not the Chris Reeve Superman but if you look at that cape, you can see what I mean. Thanks!
I’m inclined to agree with you. The logo is the same one I’m using for the vintage Super Powers Superman. I’ve given it a lot of thought and the next batch of labels will be slightly bigger. Great comment👍
Hoping I'll be able to find these my Walmart is pretty bad. I'll definitely be ordering your replacement capes, need a Red Tornado one, too. Wonder why they went with the modern Darkseid look?
Have patience I’m pretty sure they will show up unexpected
From what little I've seen & head; I think the different look for Darkseid is supposed to be the New 52 look. It sorta looks like they started with a Mongul sculpt, backtracked on it & said, "nope. We'll make Darkseid. He'll just look more bright & festive."
