Another awesome video. They have kept me going for the last 3 months after being rushed to hospital and needing major surgery and helped me with the pain of missing getting out on my bike.
Its on my list of "going to head there" places to ride. Ask Piers how he is getting on with his 161 as a long term overview, is it a good enduro/all mountain, it looks like a weapon once you get used to the geometry. Very tempted by one but its a long wait till they are available again.
He’s still loving it, and his riding has improved no end since getting it. It took a little getting used to the longer reach for him though, but that’s about it.
@@McTrailRider yeah it does look a stable rig on the downward trajectory. Keep up the good work, that looked epically steep at the end of the 2nd last trail.
What width bars are u running and how tall are u? Just intrigued as I watched ur bike check vid where u said u were running 810mm bars, which seems mad wide, so didn't know u had cut them down since.

Hi Andy
How wide are piers bars they look massive in intro in back ground ,looks like his arms should be about 6ft long 🤣😂
I think they are 800mm, whatever comes standard on a Privateer 161. They probably are a bit wide for him to be fair.
@@McTrailRider wow that is wide am 6.1 and find 770 spot on ,they do look funny in intro must be effect from lens 😄
Great vid Andrew 👍...looking for a wee frame bag myself...whats the name of that one ?🤔
It’s this one here

@@McTrailRider nice one dude 👊
Trails look mega. Probably a lot harder than you make them look👍
That looked sweet! whats the tools to chocolate ratio in your frame bag? (fanny pack)
Mainly tools believe it or not
@@McTrailRider yet its shaped like a slice of cake!
Looks bloody steep
Certainly was towards the end there
