You know, Roland's story reminds me of John Wick's, but with a much more brutal world. They both lost something very precious to them after tasting themselves a little piece of paradise, which only lasted for a short moment. They both then had to come back to their dark lives, with nothing to lose, in the name of vengeance.
Love your covers, this one always makes me feel sad for Roland. You can feel the repressed sorrow in the song, yet it carries a faint hope within the notes.
I was so calm when 1st phase and phase 2 came like a banger I was not expecting that change, magnificantly played and is such an enjoyment to listen to it!!
Absolutely stunning cover! you never cease to amazing with these covers they are always amazing! Edit: I only JUST realized the animation on the different parts and they add so much to the music... The first one is dark and somber, similar to the tone of the Black Silence fight. The second part has a red haze over it, as if consumed by rage the way Roland was wont to do in his flashbacks. The third part has the 2 circles and one disappears, with the white color and clean look to everything its likely Angelica's influence, and as the middle circle roils and gets bigger its likely Roland grieving and eventually learning to let go of her. Probably lookin too deep into this, but regardless its too darn cool!
I believe the red haze in the second part has more of something to do with Roland's involvement in the Smoke War, given how he transformed into the creature that seemingly started that war.
