I bought this knife a couple years ago primarily to try 440C, secondarily I needed a knife cheap enough that if I lost it while working or damaged it I wouldn't throw a fit. I still have it, lockup is still good, and I can get this steel sharper than many other knife steels I own. The flat grind and angle are very good.

amazing knife for below 20 dolars. My bugout springs broke in 6 months. My ganzos have never broken their springs.
Same thing for me, i keep it around to have a cheap knife on me when i need to go out and not need to worry about losing a lot of money

i have 2 of this. g10 and carbon handle. great knife relative to the price range. been more than 2 years now and not a single problem since i used them on heavy cutting.

If possible, get an extra pair from benchmade

I have one. the carbon fiber handle. it's good for stabbing. not for cutting.

Damn man you paid all that money for the Bugout and the spring broke. Did they ever send you the spring? I just got back into collecting. I’ve bought 7 Ganzo for myself so far and 3 more for my friends. I’m thinking about buying either a G7531 or a F753M1. I think they’re the same. I just got the “Rat Fink” G727M and it’s now my favorite. You can get it on Amazon for $19.75 USD. If you like the Ontario Rat you like it. It has the G-Lock. Also nice review.

yeah dude. both springs broke. I did email BM and they said they would send it but it just never came after months. So i bought some aftermarket ones.
Yeah Ganzos have amazing value and its so cheap you cant really go wrong. Built far better than their price suggests. Both those knives you are looking at are great imo.
Thanks for the comment bro :)

Anyone have any idea how to loosen/undo stripped screws? I would like to change the clip on this knife but the T6s on it striped ... Thanks.

oooo that sucks. On screws this small, a guy told me you have solder a t6 bit into the slot and then back it out. But i've never tried that before.

Probably easier to just drop the $20 on a new one.

It is 'solved'. Actually the bit that I used was of an inferior quality, its the bit that was stripped 😅. I got a proper bit and was able to replace the clip with one that is deep carry. The knife is close to perfect now.

The exploded view on the Amazon URL for this knife shows ball bearings.
I purchased one and it does not have ball bearings. I returned the knife.

It’s a PB washer with holes drilled through it to hold lubrication. Think CRK
