Love that you're back. For what it's worth I think a video with themed decks was really interesting. It resulted in some interesting plays that aren't always seen with the usual thassa's oracle win cons.
Alex shuld have seen that Necro self kill coming when Zeb took his turn. The power move there should have been to pay all his life before the mindslaver effect.
Good to see you back. Also, this may have only been one showing, but it seemed like a very typical game for how Power Balance will end up playing most games.
Interestingly, at 12:11 in the video, Zeb could have made infinite Eternal Scourges. With 2 Ulalek triggers, resolving the first one would allow him to copy both the Eternal Scourge spell and the other Ulalek Trigger. He needs to pay 2 for one of the first two Ulalek Triggers, then: Stack the triggers so the stack resolves in order of Ulalek Trigger - Scourge Copy - Ulalek Trigger - Original Scourge Pay 2 more for the Ulalek Trigger, the stack can now be arranged as Scourge Copy x2 - Ulalek Trigger - Scourge Copy - Ulalek Trigger - Original Scourge Let the Scourge copies resolve, sacrifice one of them and then copy the Ulalek trigger, you now net +1 Scourge token Repeat for infinite Eternal Scourges
It doesnt work because you cant arrange the stacks like that. Ulaleks trigger copys spells first and activated/triggered abilities after. Instead of "Scourge Copy x2 - Ulalek Trigger - Scourge Copy - Ulalek Trigger - Original Scourge" the stack will look like this after x iterations: Ulalek Trigger - x times Scourge Copy - Ulalek Trigger - Original Scourge Unfortunately the Scourges wont resolve before the copied Ulaleks Trigger to pay for them with Ashnods Altar to go infinite
Ah I see, so you can make infinite copies only if you already have infinite mana. Otherwise you just get an additional copy for each 2 colorless mana you have
@@anhisfineIt also works if you have an ability as your way to make additional mana, rather than a spell. Something that makes eldrazi scions or basalt monolith can work
4:14 does Mike not need to have another land with an everything counter or a Urzas Mine or Tower to get power plant’s ability? I assumed it would only count as one of the everything at my choosing. Thanks!
Not sure if it would matter, but paying for two Ulalek triggers would actually make 4 total Eternal Scourges. You copy the spell, then copy the other Ulalek trigger. Then when you pay for the next one, you copy two Scourge, and another copy of the Ulalek ability. Also, you don't mention paying for Roaming Throne's Ward when channeling Otawara, but Mike easily had enough mana that turn anyway.
Cards in hand is such an important indicator of who is winning the game, more so than life total in CEDH I would argue, is there any way you could put some kind of counter on the screen so we can better track the state of the game?
I an so fascinated to see what The Necrobloom can do in cEDH. I know a lot of people are trying to do gitrog things with it but i think that’s a mistake. It can do what gitrog does as well, it needs to find what it can do.
The jund deck list seems a little disappointing. The only card that interacts with Lhurgoyfs at all is Maskwood Nexus and I don't think the combat trigger matters in Cedh. So it's just a Jund reanimator with no commander
Nadu is the love child of Kinnan + Tymna... Even more card adventage then tymna if you set your board up and also mana cheating since the lands come into play... He is probably the next 3cmc simic cards that run rampend in many formats, just like Oko and Uro
Ryan is literally the best narrator on the internet.
True
Glad you guys are back! You and Play to Win are my absolute favorite content creators.
Thank you so much!

The ability to cram an hour plus game into 13 mins is why I absolutely love yalls videos❤

Good to see you back. Also, this may have only been one showing, but it seemed like a very typical game for how Power Balance will end up playing most games.
We’ve seen it in a few other games. If you don’t have top deck manipulation, it’s just luck.
So happy to see the channel back :)
Glad you guys are back! Welcome! I hope all is well!
Amazing! Welcome Back to my YT Feed!
I'm glad you're back!
Missed hearing Ryan say "Playing with Power M.T.G. Powerful cards powerful formats "
Glad to have you back fellas
I am so so so happy Omo won. What a WILD deck. I was smiling watching them go off. Incredible builds!

Welcome back guys, we missed ya

I love the concept of using a commander just for the colors and forgetting that it exists
Good to see you back. We saved your seat.
Much appreciated!
It's been 3000 years... 🥲
Welcome back!
Thanks! Glad to be back!

OH MY GOD WE’RE BACK BABY
So nice to see this video on th feed!🎉
Amazing. I really thought Zeb was gonna break something. Gz Mike
glad to see you back
Love love love Omo. So glad to see her win.
Cards in hand is such an important indicator of who is winning the game, more so than life total in CEDH I would argue, is there any way you could put some kind of counter on the screen so we can better track the state of the game?
We are looking into that. You’ll see our first stab at it next month.
Zeb did the right thing with using all of alex's life with necro but it's always a linda feels bad if you get knocked out early :
Glad you back🎉🎉🎉
Playing with power is back!!!!
I an so fascinated to see what The Necrobloom can do in cEDH.

Welcome back.
Omo is a plant on that last turn ❤
Yeee! You are back!!!
Anyone know what sleeves Mike is using? Looks great.
Oh I missed this channel! Glad you are back! And quite a blast of a match! Nice job! If you are looking for players, I’m ready to help! ;-)

This was nuts GGS everyone 😂😂😂
Man ive missed this
Let's go Ryaaaaaannn!!!
WE ARE SO BACK!
Wasn't there a video before this 1?
YIPPEE PLAYING WITH POWER RETURN!
Small nitpick: legend rule isn’t a sacrifice, but it will count as stuff dying
What was the reason for the break?
Personal issues in Ryan's life.
WE ARE SO BACK
"And he fetches... Nothing" 😢
tricky terrain ftw
Heck yes!!!
WE ARE BACK!
-Stu
Let’s gooooo!!
Welcome back, you beautiful bastards!
Graveyard deck playing necro seems… interesting?
The jund deck list seems a little disappointing. The only card that interacts with Lhurgoyfs at all is Maskwood Nexus and I don't think the combat trigger matters in Cedh. So it's just a Jund reanimator with no commander
I guess high power means no Nadu...sad.
But still love to see you guys posting :)
Nadu will be on the channel soon! But uh, Nadu way more competitive than high power xD
Nadu is coming soon!
Nadu is the love child of Kinnan + Tymna... Even more card adventage then tymna if you set your board up and also mana cheating since the lands come into play... He is probably the next 3cmc simic cards that run rampend in many formats, just like Oko and Uro
Nadu is cartoonishly broken, I have no idea what they were thinking with this one. Might be stronger than Kinnan.
Nice
omo was a plant technically on that last turn....
Yay!
Man, I missed Ryan’s voice
Let's f***** gooooooooo!
My disa is insane.
LFG!
Yay!!!
Aw a shame that gisa didn't really do much and died to his own necropotence lol
