I'm working full time and going to school four nights a week (in addition to moving and planning a wedding!) and it has been so awesome to see another person who's working hard and determined, but also manages to have fun with friends and take time for the little things. Watching the end of this video was like looking in a mirror in a good way. I'm choosing to transition to only working 4 days a week, which has been a very hard decision but one i think is necessary. This video feels like a sign that lightening one's load isn't a bad thing. Thank you for your channel!

gosh linh, your videos are always such an easy way for me to reset, like you make me think about my identity and my surroundings in such a not-brain tornado way and yeah i just really appreciate hearing everything you have to say :))
Hearing you talk about how there is so much you can sacrifice for yourself, mentally, physically and emotionally really felt like a call out in some sorts for me,, i dropped out of school this year and felt terrible the past 2 months because i felt like i took the easy way out of things instead of facing them, but then it hit me. I've always wanted things to be perfect, and giving up is something i don't feel comfy with at all. But is it really worth it ? Sacrificing my mental wellness and how i percieve the daily life by achieving things quicker is not the way i want things to go and doing so for so long made me feel like i was drowning. Trouble remembering cherished memories was the hardest part perhaps, also relearning to live a life without school is very weird. I'm still going through that state of acceptance even tho i wish i wasn't but i made the decision to give up to give myself time and space to breath so i won't rush things. Kind of a big ramble, but all that to say that the lil speech you gave was very helpful and made me look back on things with a better view. Thanks linh!!

I've always wanted things to be perfect, and giving up is something i don't feel comfy with at all. But is it really worth it ? Sacrificing my mental wellness and how i percieve the daily life by achieving things quicker is not the way i want things to go and doing so for so long made me feel like i was drowning. Trouble remembering cherished memories was the hardest part perhaps, also relearning to live a life without school is very weird. I'm still going through that state of acceptance even tho i wish i wasn't but i made the decision to give up to give myself time and space to breath so i won't rush things.
Kind of a big ramble, but all that to say that the lil speech you gave was very helpful and made me look back on things with a better view. Thanks linh!!
