10:30 - this happened for me on factory. i threw a nade out of office to corridor, blew up, heard death sound. searched the body all the floors and outside - didn't find the body. when i extracted it said that i killed him KEKW

Well, it's also the fact that most games are balanced around being able to fight back in most situations. In Tarkov, if you're out positioned, you just die. No sugarcoating.

Nah ratting is sleeper, most players are freaked out by combat in the game or are just bad at it, so this just appeals to half of the player base
@@bzuulu if you're solo, ratting = winning more often. Which is why people do it. As a Rat you should see and get first shot on somebody. Allowing you to kill 1 or 2 quickly, and then straight up 1 v 1 the third guy. Its about first shot opportunity, versus strength in numbers.

@@bzuulu ratting is anything but sleeper. Absolute cope ass opinion. In the end of the day people want to get kills, some want to sprint around the map like it's cod telling everyone they are there, and then some want to take their time and find some unsuspecting player to kill.
You WANT unfair fights in this game, especially as a solo. Sprinting into a squad of 5 as a solo is death, but playing it slow and finding the right opportunity gets you some adrenaline pumping kills.
I killed a mf squad of 3 by ghosting them half the map on shorline and they were none the wiser, they died when they all went to the fishing gear boat and I threw a single grenade and killed them. Only braindead rat hating ass players would just try to abruptly try to gun them down in the middle of the open.

I actually think if Doc played with someone like Stank or Gigabeef and they walked him through the mechanics in more detail, in a short time Doc would be able to adapt a lot better. Especially showing him the sneaky rat spots, he'd get creative real quick.
I think hes just too pissed of with COD atm and that theres really nothing else to play, that when he jumps into Tarkov to break it up, he fails to let go of the cod mentality and gets frustrated (ah, Stank mentions this at 7:40~).

i watched doc's stream for a few minutes and read his chat and it was unbelievable that i was watching something live and that there were real human souls talking in his chat. Every comment is just like AWESOME STREAM! doc is really the best. GO DOC! hey doc, girlfriend and i finally settling in watching you. having a great evening. and the gameplay was him like walking around with an m870 and dying to a level 2 guy. he didnt even respond to a single comment so that shit felt so prerecorded lol

Coming to tarkov from apex which has a high TTK, playing cover is important in Apex so that's a habit I've had in tarkov too. Feel like lots of the apex pros who stream tarkov end up doing well too

New players should get Arena first along with using UA-cam to gain knowledge of game through people with thousands of hours. I played Tarkov for about 450 hours before arena and struggled. Since Arena I've been getting in fights with confidence and surviving over 50% of my raids. Learning the movement and gun play mechanics will lead you to success in this game before anything else.

As some whos first real wipe is 0.14 its damn hard. I have 3 spreadsheets open and 2 maps just to learn maps, ammo and amor. If you're not willing to suffer its just frustration pure. Even with probably 30000h across all shooters I played nothing really translates to Tarkov playstyle, something like DayZ is the closes imo.

Honestly every complains about the learning curve in this game and the handicap in arenas. This may sound wild but, almost every game has a curve. There's levels to them all
