I’m am so sorry you have to deal with these situations. I understand some people are ignorant and not accustomed but most of those questions were flat out RUDE. God bless y’all. Love from Texas.

I have heard each one of these, except the guide dog ones because I don’t have one

Oh my god!!! It's so true.. it's almost a curse when you're legally blind, but don't "look blind". There are some rude responses I've gotten over the years from this.. it's kind of unbelievable. Keep doing your thing you're doing awesome.👍🤞🙏😊

Once in a doctor surgery, when I told them, I couldn’t fill in the form because I’m blind. They asked if a blue pen would help. I was once asked by an airline what kind of Guide Dogs for the blind is it? I replied, a black one! As I was getting off a plane once, a guy getting off, said, when did the dog get on the plane? I replied by telling him that he was out on the wind playing with his ball for the first 20 minutes, but got a bit cold inside the cabin crew let him in. As you can tell, I’m a bit of a smart arse…

My favorite one that I get is "I know how you feel I can't see without my glasses either.

Could depend what their vision is like without glasses. Without my glasses I’m considered legally blind, as I can only focus 8cm in front of my face and have zero depth perception. For post migraine times I have taught my dog basic guide work so I can take my glasses off (which helps ‘rest’ the muscles and means less pain).

All of those questions are ignorant, stupid, or flat out RUDE. It's horrible you've had to hear all of them, but I have no doubt you've responded to them with grace and forgiveness... even though you have every right not to.

"How do I communicate with her?"
I'll tell you the steps to communicating with a SD(service dog)!
    1) You don't.
    2) You look
    3) You think
"Aw look at that pretty fur baby helping his human ❤"
    4) You go on about your day
Very simple 4 steps anyone should be able to complete ✅
