He shares how he was a mediocre student and did not pay much attention to his studies till he felt he needed newer skills to be relevant as a professional. An engineer from the Jaypee Institute of Technology, Noida, Vaibhav also pursued an MBA along with his B.Tech as a 5 year course.
Finally, after a few years as a working professional employed at a KPO, Vaibhav decided to get serious about his education and upskill himself. He then decided to take up and cleared CFA Level 2. He got into IIM Indore and that’s where his life took a different turn.
As a middle office executive at Deutsche Bank, Vaibhav then got a chance to work at their Sydney office. He eventually came back to India as a front office executive.
Having closed around 15 deals in his 2 years at Deutsche Bank in India, Vaibhav decided to move his focus to private equity and joined Edelweiss. Ultimately, Vaibhav decided to join Wealthdesk, a startup that caters to retail investors in India.

Your channel is so inspiring. All the amazing people I adore on linkedin are right here talking about their journeys. Amazing!
Host(ankit) should let guest speak more rather than himself.
I have seen a lot of talks and each time he intrrupts the guest.
Always. The host should keep in mind, his job is to guide the conversation for his audience, not to interrupt the speaker that people have come to hear.
He is full of himself cause he is from IIM still doing UA-cam pa chutiya pa aaur rat main sabko daauda de raha hai
True
He seems like a self obsessed person who thinks that no one is nothing to great.
Investment Banking started fascinating me after I came to know about Rishi sunak.. British FM.
That's great Sudhanshu,
We should be open to every development around us.

Why Ankit Doshi is so rude ?
He is not rude its his job. Anybody who would be in his place ,they would also be having the same doubt which he asks directly. .
There is nothing "rude" about his conduct here. You do not understand the meaning of the word.
There is a thin line in between being rude and being straight forward. According to me, he is straight forward so as his profession.
Coz he is illiterate
You'll realise why Ankit used the word "Rude" if you've watched his earlier interviews that he hosted.
Inspiring story. Loved the interaction. Eagerly waiting for part 2.
The part 2 will be out soon,
Stay Tuned
This was wonderful. Also, Please bring HR professionals to the Konversations as well.
Yes, we will share our conversation with the CHRO of Mensa Brands! Stay tuned!

Same
What bad host discussing meaningless personel stuffs, no much professional discussion
Please don't bring people who glorify IB on such a platform. The work culture in IB is inhuman and such culture and jobs should not be promoted as people make mistakes of joining IB firms just to regret later. Same goes with consulting. At the end of the day both IBankers and consultant are nothing but corporate slaves of their seniors and clients.

These videos are really depressing. Supposed brightest minds of our country just want to join consulting or do investment banking, where you are not making anything, not improving anyone's life other than yourself. No creativity, no humility, only arrogance as if just making money makes you succesful.
Hey Gaurav.
Why do you think that you can not make an impact by joining consulting or IB?
@@InsideIIMKonversations i am not altruistic. I think it's fair to work hard and make money. Infact I am also working for an HFT firm and have resigned recently. These companies invest in CSR activities and that can be called a positive impact, but the real motivation for the work is the hefty year end bonuses. The work you are doing is never going to be made into a product or service, the research is never going to be published or prove useful to anyone.
I guess what I am saying is that people should work in an industry where they are making some advancement to our society. These are the brightest minds of our country and they will always have a comfortable life. Instead they are choosing a career with immense stress levels what they can't give time to their own families only to make money that they don't have time to enjoy even.
You can see the difference in the talks with the people who have instead gone and created businesses. In many ways what they are saying is completely orthogonal to what the consultants are saying. I think IIMs should also have a strict work experience requirement.
Unfortunately I think most of these people are good at clearing exams, not at applying the knowledge in the real life. Making money isn't the ultimate goal.
It's their life and they aren't obligated to anyone to make their lives better
Worst host tbh what's he even doing
