- LGB Alliance Head of Research Malcolm Clark says most people accepted the “rough outline” of transgender icon Jazz Jennings’ transition at five years old.
Jazz Jennings is a transgender woman whose entire transition was shown on the reality TV show ‘I am Jazz’.
“Then I decided as I often do to go back and really analyse what we were told,” Mr Clark said.
“So I went back to the original broadcasts with Barbara Walters in 2007 when she went to see a little four-year-old.
“I was just amazed when I watched it to see how Barbara Walters, who was this icon of American journalism, wasn’t asking any searching questions and was just accepting everything.”
These procedures on children are a crime against humanity.
I feel so sorry for Jazz. He's so tortured.

The shows right before and after bottom surgery were so sad because you could see the mental anguish he was going through. He's so mixed up that now he claims he is a transgender lesbian. That right there means their experiment has failed.
This breaks my heart for this little boy. His not only approved of this but kind of pushed him into it. They cut off his penis and made a hole in his body that he will have to dialate every single day for the rest of his life and he will never orgasm. This is child abuse and she should be in jail. We say that underage people cannot give consent for sex, how can they give consent have their penis removed? This upsets me so deeply.
That mother needs to be punished for what she has done to her child. She is a perverted narc and the dad isn't any better. That poor child will never have any normality or happiness with that disgusting family.
What an advanced 4-year-old that at such young age knew the words penis and vagina, and that you can change them if you want. I am 51 years old, and I had never heard of " transgender ideology" until 3 years ago.

When I was four years old I told my Mom that I could fly. She said, "That's nice, be sure and tell you Dad when he gets home from work". If I'd had Jazz's parents they would have agreed with me and thrown me off the roof in an effort to pander to my whims. It is sickening what they have done to their son.

Her two year old never said that. When I was two I never knew what that even was. It sounds like her mom coached her into that. Why would you do that to her son? People in the future will look back at us in horror at what we did.

He’s obese, has joint pain, is depressed, experiences derealization, and will probably not attain a normal lifespan. What’s more, he can never go back. At most, he could have more surgery to remove the boobs, surgery to close or remove the fake vagina, surgery to give him a means of urination, possibly having to wear a catheter, hormones to make him a little more masculine, like a slightly lower voice, and grow a few facial hairs. He could get a short haircut, wear male clothes, and identify as non-binary. That’s about it. Regardless, his health, physical and mental, is ruined.

A vagina is not a thing. For a biological women it's a normal part of her body. We don't need to dilate it to keep it open. The Mothers comment says a lot about her attitude to her son's current predicament

I think Jazz saw her mother dressing up her sister and she was close to her sister. Therefor wanted to be a girl. Since when does a 2 year old know the word vagina?
When my son was little my niece would stay with me in the Summer. I also took care of another little girl. My niece and I would put make up on her and dress her all up. I think my son felt left out and jealous. We also put make up on him. Just playing around. My son and the little girl were always dressing up. The little girl as a bride and a princess. My son as an army man, fireman, policeman etc. When Christmas came around my mom asked him what he wanted for Christmas, he said a dress. Christmas Day came and he opened her present, he said where’s my dress? We just laughed and didn’t reinforce it. He’s grown up to be a happy healthy man. I’m sure if we would have continued here’s your dress perhaps it might have turned out differently. I too feel bad for Jazz.
Children often play out as characters are the opposite sex then they are. Its not relevant to a child. Lots of little girls pretend to be spiderman as toddlers and no one makes a fuss.

I remember when my son was in high school we went from the cutters, to the girls that were lesbians, to the girls that realized they couldn't have a boyfriend if they were a lesbian, so it went to being bi-sexual. He graduated at this stage. I suppose if his education was longer it would have gone to being transsexual. Remember when they went from the pet rock to clackers. I just don't understand what's happened to the adults in the room.

I bingedwatch I Am Jazz during 2020 with an open mind and interest in how a family deals with a child who announces they are trans and was shocked how abusive the whole thing was. And I was even more shocked at how no one was calling it out!

I didn’t even know what either of those were, not even when I was five years old. Heck, I didn’t know that until I was a bit older than that. It’s like someone said in one of the comments…children do not know about sex or what either of these words are and for sure, he was coached into believing this disastrous ideology and learned these from his mom. Is it possible that Jazz would have been content living as a feminine boy? She certainly seemed happier and more content in that dressing up period when she was a small child. After all she didn't seem to be the one who initially requested the puberty blockers and medical transition path. How would she even have known about such things?
It appears the decisions around her gender transition were primarily driven by the recommendations and guidance of her family and healthcare providers, rather than her own urgent request for these treatments. And it's following on from the blockers and the surgery where all her problems, dilemmas and distress seemed to start. Either way I wish her as much happiness as is possible.
